00:00:05:15 - 00:00:07:18
In this tutorial, we'll take a surface
level,

00:00:07:18 - 00:00:11:15
look at the methods
by which we can push jobs taken by Infigo.

00:00:11:19 - 00:00:14:25
two. External folders or systems.

00:00:14:27 - 00:00:17:08
We'll take a look at two major areas

00:00:17:08 - 00:00:21:04
hot folders and MIS integrations.

00:00:21:06 - 00:00:23:08
So first off, we can navigate to the hot

00:00:23:08 - 00:00:26:15
Folders section.

00:00:26:17 - 00:00:28:27
This section allows you to define folders

00:00:28:27 - 00:00:33:17
to act as the recipient for job artwork
and to define rules

00:00:33:17 - 00:00:37:29
as to which jobs get automatically sent
to which folder.

00:00:38:01 - 00:00:41:15
In addition to automatically distribute
artwork into hot folders,

00:00:41:15 - 00:00:45:29
you are required to configure
a separate service named Infigo sync.

00:00:46:02 - 00:00:48:23
The Infigo Academy contains
details on how to obtain,

00:00:48:23 - 00:00:52:11
install and configure this.

00:00:52:13 - 00:00:55:19
Here, we'll give a basic run
through of the hot folder configuration

00:00:55:26 - 00:00:57:19
functionality.

00:00:57:19 - 00:01:04:25
Much more detailed configuration resources
are available on the Infigo Academy,

00:01:04:28 - 00:01:07:28
so we'll start off with something
called a print location.

00:01:07:28 - 00:01:12:09
You are required to specify print
locations which are essentially just that.

00:01:12:12 - 00:01:15:12
There are location in which you print.

00:01:15:15 - 00:01:17:18
Here, for example, we have facility one

00:01:17:18 - 00:01:21:01
and facility two.

00:01:21:04 - 00:01:22:01
The next level down,

00:01:22:01 - 00:01:25:01
if you expand one of those is hot folders,

00:01:25:02 - 00:01:29:15
so you can create one or more hot folders
within a print location.

00:01:29:17 - 00:01:32:00
And these are just folders
which you are eventually

00:01:32:00 - 00:01:35:25
going to get artwork directly sent to.

00:01:35:27 - 00:01:37:19
On each of those folders we can say

00:01:37:19 - 00:01:40:19
edit mapping.

00:01:40:25 - 00:01:43:27
Detailed
mapping can be assigned to our hot folders

00:01:43:27 - 00:01:48:00
to ensure that jobs are automatically sent
to the most appropriate location.

00:01:48:03 - 00:01:50:04
This can take many different forms

00:01:50:04 - 00:01:57:19
from direct product mapping to mapping
based on order location.

00:01:57:22 - 00:01:58:23
Let's take a look at how

00:01:58:23 - 00:02:02:16
hot folder use is shown to shared
print operation users.

00:02:02:18 - 00:02:12:22
And this is once hot folders are fully
configured, including Infigo sync.

00:02:12:25 - 00:02:17:03
so I'm going to locate a relevant job

00:02:17:05 - 00:02:19:07
and scroll right down to the print

00:02:19:07 - 00:02:22:18
location and folder section.

00:02:22:20 - 00:02:25:07
Here we can see that we are notified

00:02:25:07 - 00:02:28:07
the job has been assigned
to a particular folder

00:02:28:10 - 00:02:32:00
and again, if we want to manually swap
the hot folder that this is assigned to,

00:02:32:06 - 00:02:36:07
we can do so by changing the location
or changing the hot folder

00:02:36:10 - 00:02:40:11
and say copy to hot folder.

00:02:40:14 - 00:02:43:14
We can also take a look in the job status.

00:02:43:18 - 00:02:48:11
The job status is also updated
with relation to folder actions

00:02:48:13 - 00:02:51:13
so you can see here
that the job was placed in a hot folder.

00:02:51:16 - 00:02:53:22
You can see
it was automatically downloaded

00:02:53:22 - 00:02:57:01
and then it's been verified
as then be present within the folder.

00:02:57:01 - 00:02:58:00
If everything is working

00:02:58:00 - 00:03:06:27
correctly, you'll see artwork files
appearing in the specified hot folders.

00:03:07:00 - 00:03:07:16
So now I'm going to

00:03:07:16 - 00:03:12:27
navigate to connect plugins.

00:03:13:00 - 00:03:13:16
So next

00:03:13:16 - 00:03:17:17
we'll take a look at the MIS
approach of pushing jobs from Infigo.

00:03:17:19 - 00:03:21:09
Infigo has direct
plug ins with numerous MIS providers

00:03:21:09 - 00:03:25:12
such as printIQ, Veracore and Tharstern.

00:03:25:14 - 00:03:29:04
In addition, Infigo produces
a module named Connect Flow,

00:03:29:06 - 00:03:33:17
which allows data to be pushed from Infigo
in a much more generic way,

00:03:33:19 - 00:03:35:25
allowing connections
to be formed with software.

00:03:35:25 - 00:03:42:29
We do not have bespoke integrations with.

00:03:43:02 - 00:03:45:24
So I'm just going to select
one of these connect options

00:03:45:24 - 00:03:51:17
that we have and click on configure

00:03:51:19 - 00:03:52:24
Full integrations

00:03:52:24 - 00:03:56:28
of your Infigo and MIS solutions
can be a fairly complex process.

00:03:57:00 - 00:03:58:14
However, we're here to help.

00:03:58:14 - 00:04:00:22
The Infigo
Academy has a range of tutorials

00:04:00:22 - 00:04:05:02
for each of our major integrations, plus
our support team are on hand to assist.

00:04:05:02 - 00:04:09:21
If you're having a bit of trouble
in the process begins by entering your MIS

00:04:09:22 - 00:04:13:28
credentials into Infigo
In order to form a link between the two.

00:04:14:01 - 00:04:15:29
From here,
there are some additional configuration

00:04:15:29 - 00:04:18:29
options
available to fine tune your integration,

00:04:19:06 - 00:04:30:24
and you may find that these options differ
on the different integrations.

00:04:30:27 - 00:04:32:17
Next, I'm going to locate an

00:04:32:17 - 00:04:45:04
option called Connect Link,

00:04:45:07 - 00:04:49:17
so you can see one example of it here.

00:04:49:19 - 00:04:52:16
When working with an integration module,

00:04:52:16 - 00:04:56:27
you will often see this connect link
button appearing throughout Infigo..

00:04:56:29 - 00:05:01:05
This button allows you to link that
particular element with your solution.

00:05:01:08 - 00:05:04:15
And it could appear on,
for example, product,

00:05:04:18 - 00:05:08:28
an attribute which is within a product,
an attribute combination

00:05:09:00 - 00:05:12:19
customer and various other locations.

00:05:12:22 - 00:05:14:27
The operation of the Connect Link menu.

00:05:14:27 - 00:05:16:21
So the page that appears
when you actually click

00:05:16:21 - 00:05:20:11
this link will change based on
the integration you are working with.

00:05:20:13 - 00:05:23:24
But what you're essentially doing
is just forming a connection between

00:05:23:24 - 00:05:27:23
a certain part of the Infigo software
and a certain part of your MIS

00:05:27:25 - 00:05:31:13
solution.

00:05:31:15 - 00:05:38:16
Once again, navigating back to
our shared print operations.

00:05:38:19 - 00:05:39:08
As with hot

00:05:39:08 - 00:05:42:18
folders, any action
related to pushing data to an MIS

00:05:42:18 - 00:05:49:12
will trigger a status update on the job
within a shared print operations

00:05:49:15 - 00:05:51:18
When linking to an MIS

00:05:51:18 - 00:05:56:00
A specific section is available on the job
within shared print operations.

00:05:56:02 - 00:05:58:16
This will give updates on the current job
status.

00:05:58:16 - 00:06:01:09
With respect to the MIS

00:06:01:09 - 00:06:03:10
You can also manually re trigger

00:06:03:10 - 00:06:06:10
the MIS connection
to push the job again if required.
