How to Receive Email Notifications for “Output Creation Failed”

Overview

Sometimes a generated PDF becomes unavailable or other issues arise, causing the job status to change to “Output Creation Failed.” If you’d like to receive an automatic notification when this occurs, you can enable and configure an email message template in your Infigo Admin.

Scenario

“I want to be notified via email whenever a job’s status changes to ‘Output Creation Failed,’ so my team can promptly resolve the issue.”

Steps to Enable and Configure the Notification

  1. Access Email Message Templates

    • In your Infigo Admin, use the main search bar (top left) to find and open Email Message Templates page.
  2. Locate the Relevant Template

    • Look for the template related to “Output Creation Failed” in the list of Email Message Templates.
  3. Enable the Template

    • Open the template and ensure it is enabled (toggled via an on/off switch or a checkbox).
  4. Add Your Notification Email Address

    • If needed, add the email address (or multiple addresses) to:
      • BCC Field: So your team receives a copy of the email each time.
      • Storefront Owner Email Address: Note that any store-owner-targeted emails will go to this address if updated here.
  5. Save Your Settings

    • Once you’ve made your changes, click Save to confirm.

Tips & Additional Configuration

  • Admin Settings: In some cases, you can centrally update the Storefront Owner Email Address by searching for Email Message Template Settings in your Infigo Admin.
  • Testing: Perform a test order or force an “Output Creation Failed” status to confirm that notifications are sent correctly.
