00:00:05:15 - 00:00:06:12
In this tutorial,

00:00:06:12 - 00:00:09:14
we'll learn how to include images
and product attributes

00:00:09:14 - 00:00:13:18
as part of the batch
upload process for products.

00:00:13:20 - 00:00:15:22
So the first thing we're going to do
is to actually manage

00:00:15:22 - 00:00:20:09
the images that we have available
as part of the upload process.

00:00:20:11 - 00:00:23:00
And we do this
by actually uploading the images

00:00:23:00 - 00:00:27:17
that we want available into our Infigo
admin area itself.

00:00:27:19 - 00:00:32:22
And this is done
using a section called upload folders.

00:00:32:24 - 00:00:34:12
So first we need to create

00:00:34:12 - 00:00:37:25
a folder location
to upload our product imagery.

00:00:37:26 - 00:00:43:02
So if we go to the right hand side
and say add new upload location,

00:00:43:04 - 00:00:49:01
but then going to add a name
and a description,

00:00:49:03 - 00:00:50:04
and then we want to enter

00:00:50:04 - 00:00:56:13
the folder name of ProductImage.

00:00:56:15 - 00:01:02:26
So just like that, with no space
in between the two, words

00:01:02:28 - 00:01:09:08
check the folder is active
so we can actually utilize it

00:01:09:11 - 00:01:18:21
and then go ahead and click on insert.

00:01:18:23 - 00:01:19:27
Next, we want to manage

00:01:19:27 - 00:01:23:26
the images that are actually available
within this upload folder.

00:01:23:28 - 00:01:26:25
So if we find the row
which is created and click

00:01:26:25 - 00:01:30:09
on Manage over on the right hand side,

00:01:30:12 - 00:01:32:20
we can then click on upload

00:01:32:20 - 00:01:35:23
and select the file or files

00:01:35:25 - 00:01:41:24
that we wish to upload to the folder.

00:01:41:26 - 00:01:42:25
Once they've avoided

00:01:42:25 - 00:01:46:20
click close,
now the image name as it appears here.

00:01:46:26 - 00:01:50:15
So if I go to a table view, for example,

00:01:50:17 - 00:01:54:23
is what will need to be input
into the batch import Excel sheet.

00:01:54:25 - 00:01:56:27
This includes the file extension.

00:01:56:27 - 00:02:00:09
So for example, here
it would be infigonaut.png,

00:02:00:15 - 00:02:03:11
which goes into that batch import tool

00:02:03:11 - 00:02:09:12
and we'll show that in a moment.

00:02:09:14 - 00:02:10:05
So next

00:02:10:05 - 00:02:13:26
we'll create some product attributes
and associated values.

00:02:13:28 - 00:02:17:15
Now all the tutorials are available
discussing the creation of attributes

00:02:17:15 - 00:02:18:20
in more detail.

00:02:18:20 - 00:02:21:24
So here I'm just going to show you that
we've actually created them and these are

00:02:21:24 - 00:02:26:26
what we're going to apply in
part of the batch import tool.

00:02:26:29 - 00:02:30:18
So if I just go to product attributes,

00:02:30:20 - 00:02:33:08
you can see there
are got a couple of attributes available.

00:02:33:08 - 00:02:36:13
Attribute 1, Attribute 2 and Attribute 3.

00:02:36:15 - 00:02:40:13
Now, it doesn't matter whether these have
values associated with them by default,

00:02:40:13 - 00:02:46:01
we are just going to be referencing
a particular attribute.

00:02:46:03 - 00:02:48:29
So now we're actually going
to start our import process.

00:02:48:29 - 00:02:53:10
And the most important part of this
is actually populating the Excel document

00:02:53:10 - 00:02:58:17
that we want to use to update
or create new products.

00:02:58:20 - 00:03:01:29
So to do this, if we go to our catalog

00:03:01:29 - 00:03:04:29
section

00:03:05:03 - 00:03:06:21
products and then product management,

00:03:06:21 - 00:03:10:18
so a normal product management screen
that you've have seen many times before,

00:03:10:21 - 00:03:14:23
and then we can just go directly
to this export to Excel.

00:03:14:26 - 00:03:19:13
Now that will take your current catalog
that you have available

00:03:19:13 - 00:03:22:12
so all of your products
and we'll summarize all of the information

00:03:22:12 - 00:03:27:07
it contains into different rows
in an Excel document.

00:03:27:09 - 00:03:30:11
Now, from that Excel document,
we have the ability to modify

00:03:30:11 - 00:03:32:17
and re-import any of those rows.

00:03:32:17 - 00:03:40:20
Or we can create new rows If we want to
add additional products to our catalog.

00:03:40:23 - 00:03:41:20
So that's downloaded.

00:03:41:20 - 00:03:45:14
So let's go ahead and open that

00:03:45:16 - 00:03:49:07
and then you can see
our existing list of products here

00:03:49:09 - 00:03:53:22
with all of the associated data
that's included as part of the export

00:03:53:23 - 00:03:59:16
tool.

00:03:59:18 - 00:04:02:06
Now, in order
to get it to actually utilize

00:04:02:06 - 00:04:06:12
those images we've uploaded
and to automatically apply attributes,

00:04:06:14 - 00:04:10:27
we need to add two new columns
to the end of this sheet.

00:04:10:29 - 00:04:18:06
So if we just scroll right
to the right hand side of this,

00:04:18:09 - 00:04:21:29
go to our first empty column
and I'm going to put ProductImage.

00:04:21:29 - 00:04:24:17
So exactly the same as we rotate

00:04:24:17 - 00:04:28:12
in the upload folders area
and then we can do a second one,

00:04:28:12 - 00:04:33:19
which is ProductAttributes.

00:04:33:21 - 00:04:35:22
And the system
will automatically recognize

00:04:35:22 - 00:04:44:10
these two names and take the information
contained within those columns.

00:04:44:12 - 00:04:46:01
So if I go to our stock

00:04:46:01 - 00:04:51:29
product, one, for example,

00:04:52:02 - 00:04:55:24
go to the relevant column
and then input the relevant data.

00:04:55:27 - 00:04:58:28
Now, remember, for the image name,
we need to put the exact name

00:04:58:28 - 00:05:03:14
and extension as it appeared
in that folder location that we specified.

00:05:03:16 - 00:05:08:01
So in our case that was infigonaut.png.

00:05:08:04 - 00:05:10:14
And then for product attributes
we had a selection.

00:05:10:14 - 00:05:20:17
I'm just going to put Attribute 1

00:05:20:19 - 00:05:24:25
so I can just go ahead and save that. Now

00:05:24:28 - 00:05:26:23
I'm going to close that down

00:05:26:23 - 00:05:29:19
and then back in my product
management area.

00:05:29:19 - 00:05:36:12
So where it shares my catalog, this time
I'm going to go imports from Excel.

00:05:36:14 - 00:05:38:26
I have the ability to re select

00:05:38:26 - 00:05:42:22
the document
that I've just downloaded and modified.

00:05:42:24 - 00:05:46:20
And then before we go ahead and import
this, other changes we need to make.

00:05:46:23 - 00:05:50:20
One is to specify our upload location
that we want to utilize.

00:05:50:22 - 00:05:52:29
So you can see in our case,
we've only got one sample.

00:05:52:29 - 00:05:55:25
And I'm going to go ahead
and say import from Excel.

00:05:55:25 - 00:05:58:18
And what we should see in this case
is that our stock product

00:05:58:18 - 00:06:02:00
one updates with that new information
that we've specified.

00:06:02:00 - 00:06:05:10
So if I go down to stock product one,
you can see that our product image

00:06:05:10 - 00:06:11:17
has now updated based on what we specified
in that import tool.

00:06:11:20 - 00:06:14:20
And if I
go into the product variance information,

00:06:14:20 - 00:06:18:12
we should also see that an attribute
has automatically been specified.
