QuantityLimitsMode Setting for Connect: CERM (Supercedes the legacy IgnoreCERMQuantityLimits option)

The legacy IgnoreCERMQuantityLimits boolean has been replaced by a new drop-down called QuantityLimitsMode as of June 2025.
This change solves the issue where a product without quantity limits could override the limits defined on its linked CERM calculation: the storefront can now be told exactly which limits to apply in every situation.

Options present within the updated QuantityLimitsMode dropdown, located in Admin > Connect Plugins > Configure [Connect: CERM]

Mode From New QuantityLimitsMode Dropdown	Expected storefront behaviour to confirm
Use CERM quantity limits	Limits come from the CERM product.
Use Infigo quantity limits	Limits come from the specified Infigo master products within Connect: CERM.
Use CERM quantity limits with fallback	CERM limits are used unless they are (0, 0), in which case calculation limits apply.
Always use Calculation quantity limits	Limits always come from the CERM calculation.

 

 

4. Step-by-Step Implementation & Test Guide

1. Locate “QuantityLimitsMode”.

   • Located in Admin > Connect Plugins > Configure [Connect: CERM]

   • This is the setting that replaced IgnoreCERMQuantityLimits.

2. Select the desired mode and save.

3. Limit changes apply storefront wide, such as:

   • Landing pages

   • Products page in My Account

   • Basket
