Using Placeholder Replacer for Ship-To Order Comments in the Veracore Integration

Overview

The Connect: Veracore integration now supports passing dynamic text into the Comments field of each Ship-To object when an order is submitted to Veracore.
By combining Infigo’s Placeholder Replacer feature with a new setting, you can:

• Inject placeholders, such as any checkout attribute value—(eg Order Notes, Delivery Instructions or the Order ID) directly into Veracore’s Order Comment (ShipTo) field.

• Pass Order Notes to the warehouse – let customers leave packing or delivery instructions that flow straight into Veracore.

• Reference the Order ID inside each Ship-To – %OrderId% ensures warehouse staff can trace split shipments back to the original order.

• Storefront-specific messages – encode the storefront name, cost-centre or marketing campaign ID in every shipment.

• Compliance text – automatically attach hazardous-goods wording or gift-note reminders where required.

Step-by-Step Implementation Guide

Prerequisites

• You have the Connect: Veracore plug-in installed and configured.

1 Enable and Configure the Veracore Setting

1. Navigate to Configuration ▶︎ Connect Plug-ins ▶︎ Connect – Veracore ▶︎ Configure.

2. Scroll to the field Veracore Shipping Comment.

3. Enter a placeholder string, such as:

   %CheckoutAttribute_[AttributeName]%

4. Save the plug-in settings.
