0:12 So in this section of the printIQ tutorial, we're going to look at the basic setup. So in this section, we'll learn how to set up our Connect printIQ plugin to allow the exchange of data between the two systems. So our printIQ plugin is a paid module, so if you are interested in purchasing it, then please reach out to support or sales and they can provide you with the pricing and get you set up with the system.
0:42 What we're going to do first of all is actually enable our printIQ plugin, which is assuming you've gone through the purchase process already, so it is available on your system. So if you log in as either a storefront or a platform admin, it doesn't really matter which one you log in as, however you will need to set the printIQ plugin up on a storefront by storefront basis.
1:07 So for example, if you were logged in as your platform administrator, it would only activate the settings on the storefront that you have currently selected. So I'm going to start off by going to my Connect settings. So if I type in Connect or the search and go to Connect settings, chances are you'll have far fewer options in here than I do.
1:33 This is just your available plugins. Just make sure to locate the printIQ plugin, make sure that's checked and click save. Next, we're going to go to our Connect plugin settings. So if I go to Connect again, the other option there is Connect plugins.
1:56 That will give you a list of all of your available plugins. Again, the list you have will likely be much shorter than this, and for each of those plugin options where applicable, you've got the option to configure the plugin and you have the option to check the connection to that plugin.
2:16 We're interested in the printIQ plugin, so if I locate that in my list and go to configure, now there's a lot of options on this screen, however to actually enable the link between Infigo and printIQ, there's only these top five settings that we actually have to fill in.
2:39 All of the other settings are to do with the data that's actually exchanged between the two systems once the connection has been created. So to begin with, we need the URL. So this is your printIQ instance URL, you can just copy and paste that in there. And then we're looking at our v0 credentials, so we have our username and password.
3:05 So that could just be a username and password of any user that's on your printIQ account. There's no requirement to use your own user login. Many printIQ integration users create a separate user on the printIQ instance specifically for use with integration within Figo. You then have the application name and the application key. Now, it's unlikely you'll be able to find this information yourself inside your printIQ installation, so this information you will retrieve by contacting the printIQ support team and just simply ask them for the application name and the application key.
3:48 So in this instance, we've filled out the five items of information that we need to get from our printIQ system to link to it. I simply save and then go back to my plugin list. At this point, I can actually perform a test to see if the connection is successful, and that's just with this check connection column, which is on the right hand side.
4:13 So I just need to locate the correct plugin, Quick Check connection, and if it's successful it'll come up with a green box like this to tell us that it's successfully been able to connect, otherwise you'll get a red box telling that you that the connection has failed.
