We have extended our integration with TharsternTharstern is a print MIS (Management Information System) platform used for quoting, job management, production scheduling, and invoicing., by introducing the ability for Tharstern job status updates to automatically update the job status in Infigo.

Overview

In addition a tracking number can be pushed from Tharstern to Infigo, allowing end users to easily review the tracking information rather than contacting the site owner.

This tutorial shows you the WebhookAn event-driven HTTP callback that allows Infigo to send real-time notifications to external systems when specific events occur, such as a job status change or order placement. actions section of the Connect: TharsternInfigo's native integration with Tharstern, a print MIS platform used for quoting, job management, production scheduling, and invoicing. configuration and the Event Subscriptions switch. Once you enable it, Infigo updates a job's status when the Tharstern order is set to Delivered. It also sets the order's tracking number from the Tharstern delivery note consignment details.

What you'll be able to do

  • Click Configure on the Connect: Tharstern row in your Connect Plugins area.
  • Identify the status updates and tracking information webhooks in the Webhook actions section.
  • Click Event Subscriptions to switch on the status change and tracking information data exchange.
  • Find a job's tracking number field in its shipping information section, which Tharstern completes automatically.

Before you begin

  • Set up your connection to the Tharstern system first, as other Academy tutorials describe.

Step-by-step

  1. Navigate to Connect Plugins

    In this tutorial, we are assuming that your connection to the Tharstern system is already established (as per the steps covered in alternate tutorials within the Academy.)

  2. Click on Configure on the Connect: Tharstern row

  3. Navigate to the Webhook actions section of the configuration screen

    Two webhook links have been made available to accomplish this functionality. Information on these can be found within the Webhook actions section.

    This information does not need to be shared with Tharstern and enabled on your Tharstern system. Once the steps of this tutorial have been completed, the status updates and tracking information functionality should become immediately functional.

    Their functionality is as follows:

    • Status Updates

      • Webhook: orderitem_status_change

      • Will update the status of a job within Infigo when the Tharstern order is set to Delivered.

    • Tracking Information

      • Webhook: order_deliverynote_status_change

      • The content of the Tharstern delivery note consignment details is brought into Infigo and set as a tracking number for the order.

  4. Click on Event Subscriptions

    This button enables or disables the two event subscriptions on this storefront.

    This button is essentially an on/off switch for the status change and tracking information data exchange.
