00:00:08:12 - 00:00:10:25
We've covered
the creation of our basic products,

00:00:11:11 - 00:00:15:05
but we're yet to assign any pricing
or the elements that are critical

00:00:15:05 - 00:00:17:25
in allowing our customers
to place orders for them.

00:00:18:29 - 00:00:21:26
So in this tutorial,
we'll cover the basics of these features,

00:00:21:26 - 00:00:27:01
including product pricing,
creating and applying basic taxes,

00:00:27:15 - 00:00:29:21
fixed price shipping or delivery,

00:00:30:04 - 00:00:32:04
and then paying by purchase order

00:00:32:27 - 00:00:35:10
or other options
for all of these do exist.

00:00:35:10 - 00:00:38:01
We're just covering the basics
in this particular series.

00:00:38:14 - 00:00:40:18
Other tutorial resources exist.

00:00:40:18 - 00:00:45:23
If you want to learn more details.

00:00:45:23 - 00:00:46:27
All right.

00:00:46:27 - 00:00:50:29
So we'll start off by navigating
to our product management area,

00:00:52:02 - 00:00:54:12
which we've seen previously

00:00:54:21 - 00:00:59:12
and let’s create a simple product
on which to undertake this configuration.

00:00:59:27 - 00:01:02:26
This is simply to keep it separate
from everything else that we've created.

00:01:02:26 - 00:01:05:22
So far. So I'm just going to go to add new

00:01:07:09 - 00:01:09:25
call this
something like sample price products

00:01:11:24 - 00:01:14:12
so we know what we're making.

00:01:14:15 - 00:01:17:25
And then I'll click create.

00:01:20:14 - 00:01:22:25
So starting off with pricing our products.

00:01:23:14 - 00:01:26:06
So as we've seen previously,
you'll be taken to the product

00:01:26:06 - 00:01:28:24
details
screen for the product that you just made.

00:01:29:14 - 00:01:32:28
What we want to do
is navigate to the product variant tab.

00:01:33:21 - 00:01:37:21
So the product variant settings houses
much of the financial

00:01:37:21 - 00:01:40:23
and technical information
related to our product.

00:01:41:11 - 00:01:45:19
So in here we'll find pricing tax formats,

00:01:46:02 - 00:01:50:19
weights, dimensions
and much more related information.

00:01:51:21 - 00:01:53:23
Each product has one product

00:01:53:23 - 00:01:57:04
variant associated with it.

00:01:57:11 - 00:02:01:01
So go to edit over on the right hand side

00:02:02:29 - 00:02:04:25
and then within the product
variant screen,

00:02:04:25 - 00:02:08:22
which again has its own
few tabs associated with it.

00:02:09:09 - 00:02:13:10
We're just going to stick
with the info tab for now.

00:02:16:28 - 00:02:18:21
So let's scroll down a little bit

00:02:18:21 - 00:02:22:25
to navigate to our price option here.

00:02:23:11 - 00:02:26:21
There are numerous ways and numerous areas

00:02:26:21 - 00:02:30:17
and means by which to input pricing
into your Infigo products.

00:02:32:09 - 00:02:35:01
We have tiered pricing, pricing by page

00:02:35:11 - 00:02:38:15
discounts, call for price and much more.

00:02:39:14 - 00:02:44:17
Those are covered in more detail
in the tutorials on the Infigo Academy.

00:02:45:00 - 00:02:47:12
Here we're focusing on the absolute basics

00:02:47:18 - 00:02:50:25
of fixed price.

00:02:52:25 - 00:02:55:15
So we're just going to go to our price
field here and just apply

00:02:56:02 - 00:03:00:13
a fixed price to this particular product.

00:03:00:16 - 00:03:03:22
Well, then scroll to the top of the screen
and click on Save and Continue.

00:03:03:23 - 00:03:08:11
Edit and we can take a look at this
on our product landing page.

00:03:08:21 - 00:03:12:01
Same as we saw in previous tutorials
with the View Product

00:03:12:01 - 00:03:17:10
Page button.

00:03:17:10 - 00:03:18:02
So your price will be

00:03:18:02 - 00:03:22:02
detailed on the product landing page
that you've just input as you'd expect.

00:03:22:03 - 00:03:26:07
Adding the product to basket at
this point would increase the basket total

00:03:26:18 - 00:03:28:21
to match
all of the products contained within it.

00:03:29:26 - 00:03:33:10
You can also specify if you want to add
more than one to the basket,

00:03:33:28 - 00:03:37:06
the price added to the basket
total will be the quantity multiplied

00:03:37:06 - 00:03:41:26
by the displayed price.

00:03:43:01 - 00:03:43:11
So now

00:03:43:11 - 00:03:45:19
we're going to look at adding taxes
to our product.

00:03:46:14 - 00:03:48:14
To begin, we'll navigate with.

00:03:49:04 - 00:03:51:11
Well, navigate to the tax category.

00:03:51:11 - 00:03:53:19
Screen.

00:03:54:27 - 00:03:59:06
Now, tags categories are simply folders
for different tax rates.

00:04:00:08 - 00:04:03:01
You aren’t
specifying a tax rate on this screen.

00:04:03:01 - 00:04:06:12
As such, simply creating a category
which we can then utilize

00:04:06:21 - 00:04:11:19
in a few different ways in future steps.

00:04:12:21 - 00:04:16:12
So you can see we've got a few tax
categories available in there by default.

00:04:16:27 - 00:04:22:26
I'm just going to go to add
new upon the top right?

00:04:22:26 - 00:04:25:11
And then apply a name
to this particular category

00:04:31:10 - 00:04:33:04
and then click on Save.

00:04:33:16 - 00:04:36:22
And that's our tax category created.

00:04:37:22 - 00:04:40:18
Next, we're going to navigate to our tax
providers.

00:04:40:18 - 00:04:42:25
Screen.

00:04:46:02 - 00:04:47:24
Now, this is where we decide

00:04:47:24 - 00:04:50:25
what to do with those tax categories
that we've created.

00:04:51:18 - 00:04:54:10
If presented with a range of tax

00:04:54:10 - 00:04:57:12
provision methods
that you can utilize within Infigo

00:04:58:11 - 00:05:02:11
this includes detailed
specification of taxes by location

00:05:02:24 - 00:05:06:21
and plugins with third party tax systems
such as TaxJar.

00:05:07:11 - 00:05:08:07
In this instance,

00:05:08:07 - 00:05:12:06
we're going to keep it quick and simple
by specifying fixed rate taxes.

00:05:12:18 - 00:05:16:20
This allows us to define a fixed rate
for any of the tax categories

00:05:16:20 - 00:05:19:04
that we've created.

00:05:21:16 - 00:05:22:05
So for this,

00:05:22:05 - 00:05:25:18
we want this fixed rate tax provider
and we want to make sure that

00:05:25:18 - 00:05:29:10
that is specified as our primary provider,
which is by default.

00:05:30:00 - 00:05:33:03
If it isn't, you can just do so
and change it to the default

00:05:33:03 - 00:05:37:08
provider or primary provider
by clicking select on the relevant row

00:05:40:27 - 00:05:41:27
to configure the actual

00:05:41:27 - 00:05:44:16
tax rates
that are being utilized in this section.

00:05:44:28 - 00:05:47:20
Click on configure
and that will take us to

00:05:47:20 - 00:05:49:05
a separate screen

00:05:53:20 - 00:05:53:29
here.

00:05:53:29 - 00:05:57:00
You'll see a list of all of your specified
tax categories.

00:05:57:14 - 00:06:00:07
The rate column shows the percentage

00:06:00:07 - 00:06:02:23
of tax associated with that rate.

00:06:03:13 - 00:06:06:00
If you want to modify
it, simply click on edit

00:06:07:06 - 00:06:10:05
next to the appropriate row
and then you can modify

00:06:10:18 - 00:06:16:13
and update the rate that's being utilized.

00:06:21:02 - 00:06:22:09
Now finally, for tax,

00:06:22:09 - 00:06:25:25
we need to specify on our product
which taxes, which taxes.

00:06:25:25 - 00:06:27:25
It's being subject to.

00:06:27:25 - 00:06:31:08
This is once again done
as part of the product variant settings.

00:06:31:22 - 00:06:38:00
So I'm going to go to my product
management screen.

00:06:38:00 - 00:06:39:24
Now we know the way to get to the product

00:06:39:24 - 00:06:43:07
variant settings instead of having to go
through the product details, page

00:06:43:20 - 00:06:47:01
is to click on this little
plus icon here from product management.

00:06:48:12 - 00:06:49:08
And then the table that

00:06:49:08 - 00:06:53:14
appears is the product variant table
so we can click on edit

00:06:53:28 - 00:06:58:13
and that will take us directly
to the product variant settings.

00:07:00:08 - 00:07:02:06
If you scroll down on the info tab,

00:07:02:06 - 00:07:04:27
we can navigate to all available
tax categories

00:07:09:14 - 00:07:12:21
where you can select the tax rates
or multiple tax rate

00:07:13:02 - 00:07:15:07
that you wish to apply
to this particular product

00:07:18:28 - 00:07:20:24
and scroll to the top of the page

00:07:20:24 - 00:07:23:10
and then save.

00:07:26:27 - 00:07:27:03
All right.

00:07:27:03 - 00:07:29:03
So let's take a look at this
in more detail.

00:07:29:03 - 00:07:36:03
So, again, if we go and view that product
page, we can see price has been updated.

00:07:36:03 - 00:07:39:22
We saw that previously taxes aren't
shown at this particular stage.

00:07:40:01 - 00:07:43:22
So if we just add
a quantity of that to our basket

00:07:45:10 - 00:07:46:02
and then we can see that

00:07:46:02 - 00:07:49:16
the tax added to the basket
total will be displayed

00:07:49:26 - 00:07:56:25
within that basket.

00:07:57:26 - 00:07:59:27
So next, let's take a look at setting up

00:08:00:05 - 00:08:03:08
basic delivery options for your product.

00:08:04:03 - 00:08:05:12
Now, an important note here.

00:08:05:12 - 00:08:08:28
Depending on where you are in the world,
you may see some options

00:08:09:03 - 00:08:11:23
from the following steps
labeled slightly differently.

00:08:12:07 - 00:08:14:27
so depending on your location
and which of our servers

00:08:14:27 - 00:08:19:25
your platform is located on,
you may see the term delivery or shipping.

00:08:20:12 - 00:08:23:17
So if I talk about one
and you can't find it, just try searching

00:08:23:17 - 00:08:25:27
for the other one.

00:08:28:13 - 00:08:28:23
Okay.

00:08:28:23 - 00:08:31:19
So back in my admin area,
I'm just going to navigate to

00:08:32:17 - 00:08:36:05
what in my case is the delivery settings
or delivery methods.

00:08:36:18 - 00:08:38:20
But you may also find
it's shipping methods.

00:08:38:20 - 00:08:44:06
I've just mentioned,
as with tax categories.

00:08:44:14 - 00:08:47:12
Delivery methods are essentially
just folders.

00:08:48:00 - 00:08:50:29
All you're doing on
this screen is creating a delivery method

00:08:51:16 - 00:08:55:07
will be specifying what to do
with that method later on in the process.

00:08:56:22 - 00:08:57:27
So what I'm going to do is click on

00:08:57:27 - 00:09:00:18
Add New on the top right?

00:09:02:02 - 00:09:07:06
Apply a name to this method.

00:09:07:06 - 00:09:11:01
I can put in some additional HTML
or a description if I wish to do so,

00:09:12:24 - 00:09:19:20
but then I can just click save.

00:09:19:20 - 00:09:23:20
Now we'll decide what to do with the
delivery method that we've just created

00:09:24:05 - 00:09:26:29
and we'll do this
using the delivery computation

00:09:26:29 - 00:09:30:12
or shipping computation screen.

00:09:33:19 - 00:09:35:14
The delivery computation screen

00:09:35:14 - 00:09:38:29
will show you a range of available,
available computation methods.

00:09:39:15 - 00:09:43:14
These range from fixed rate shipping,
which will be focusing on here

00:09:43:23 - 00:09:48:13
and shipping by weight to third party
integrations such as with FedEx

00:09:48:21 - 00:09:51:17
or EasyPost. Our rapid build

00:09:51:17 - 00:10:00:07
Tutorials will focus solely on fixed rate
shipping, so locate fixed rate shipping

00:10:00:17 - 00:10:04:22
and make sure that it's active on your
storefront and it should be by default.

00:10:04:22 - 00:10:06:02
Fixed rate is the one that's

00:10:07:14 - 00:10:08:08
preconfigured

00:10:08:08 - 00:10:11:03
on all newly created storefronts.

00:10:11:16 - 00:10:14:27
However, if you do need to change
which one or multiple of these is active,

00:10:15:05 - 00:10:18:19
click on edit and that allows you
to change the active state

00:10:18:27 - 00:10:21:21
of that particular row.

00:10:23:25 - 00:10:26:09
Fixed rate shipping is active here,
so I'm just going to go ahead

00:10:26:09 - 00:10:34:28
and click Configure.

00:10:34:28 - 00:10:39:08
Now, the fixed rate shipping
configuration screen will show you a list

00:10:39:08 - 00:10:43:01
of delivery methods that you have
available on this storefront, and each

00:10:43:01 - 00:10:45:28
delivery method will have a fixed rate
associated with it.

00:10:47:18 - 00:10:50:02
So you can see that with our newly created

00:10:50:02 - 00:10:54:08
delivery method, our special delivery, it
currently doesn't have a rate by default.

00:10:54:25 - 00:11:00:15
If I want to modify this,
I just click edit, update the cost

00:11:01:08 - 00:11:03:21
and click update.

00:11:09:13 - 00:11:10:02
So from here

00:11:10:02 - 00:11:12:14
I'm going to navigate
back to the front end of our storefront

00:11:13:02 - 00:11:16:14
and then I'm just going to go and proceed
through the checkout to actually

00:11:16:14 - 00:11:19:18
verify what this has done.

00:11:21:26 - 00:11:25:02
So we'll cover the checkout process
in a later tutorial in more detail.

00:11:25:02 - 00:11:28:23
So I'm just going to skip through this
very quickly just so we can actually

00:11:29:13 - 00:11:32:12
see the delivery options.

00:11:32:12 - 00:11:35:22
All of your enabled fixed
rates will be available for selection.

00:11:35:29 - 00:11:37:08
The customer will be able to choose

00:11:37:08 - 00:11:40:22
between all of the fixed rates
that you have specified.

00:11:40:22 - 00:11:42:26
So for example,
I can click on special delivery

00:11:43:10 - 00:11:45:25
and then £20 will be added to my total.

00:11:45:25 - 00:11:47:10
and then £20 will be added to my total.

00:11:47:10 - 00:11:50:10
Okay. So the next step is to make sure

00:11:50:10 - 00:11:52:23
that we're accepting payments
by purchase order.

00:11:53:14 - 00:11:56:24
So first, let's navigate to our payment
methods.

00:11:56:24 - 00:11:59:29
Screen.

00:11:59:29 - 00:12:01:26
So Infigo has a wide selection

00:12:01:26 - 00:12:05:03
of available payment
methods ready for configuration,

00:12:05:29 - 00:12:10:16
many of these are plug ins to third
party systems such as Stripe or PayPal.

00:12:11:08 - 00:12:14:27
Note that multiple payment
methods can be active on one storefront.

00:12:14:27 - 00:12:19:07
You don't just have to provide your user
with only one payment option.

00:12:19:07 - 00:12:22:23
Here, we’ll be focusing on the default method
of accepting payment

00:12:23:04 - 00:12:26:08
commonly available on B2B storefronts,
which is purchase

00:12:26:08 - 00:12:32:19
orders.

00:12:32:19 - 00:12:36:19
So locate the purchase order row
within the table that appears on this page

00:12:37:15 - 00:12:40:23
and then click on configure.

00:12:40:23 - 00:12:44:06
Now this will take us to an additional
configuration page for purchase orders.

00:12:44:06 - 00:12:46:00
It allows us to do things such as

00:12:46:15 - 00:12:48:14
uploading an additional document

00:12:48:14 - 00:12:50:09
along with our purchase orders
if you want to watch.

00:12:50:09 - 00:12:55:09
Actually force upload of a document,

00:12:55:09 - 00:12:58:10
you can say whether it's compulsory,
so you can turn that on, for example.

00:12:59:06 - 00:13:02:03
And if we want to,
we can apply an additional fee

00:13:02:03 - 00:13:04:10
for using this particular payment option.

00:13:04:10 - 00:13:08:08
So let's just do this just as an example

00:13:09:25 - 00:13:12:04
and then I'm going to click on Save.

00:13:12:23 - 00:13:14:28
So now we're going to navigate
back to the front

00:13:14:28 - 00:13:22:07
end of our storefront again,
and I'm going to proceed

00:13:22:07 - 00:13:24:23
through the checkout once again.

00:13:25:27 - 00:13:30:03
Once we get to the payment information
section as your only default available

00:13:30:03 - 00:13:33:17
payment methods, you will be presented
with an input in which to enter

00:13:33:27 - 00:13:36:18
your purchase order number.

00:13:36:18 - 00:13:39:08
Enter a purchase order number,
and you'll be able to proceed through

00:13:39:29 - 00:13:46:20
and place the order.

00:13:46:20 - 00:13:50:25
The order confirmation screen prior
to actually finalizing the order process

00:13:51:04 - 00:13:54:07
will show us
all of our specified pricing information

00:13:54:22 - 00:13:58:20
so we can see we've got the pricing
of our products, we have our delivery

00:13:58:20 - 00:14:02:24
selection, additional fees, taxes,
all of which are shown

00:14:03:10 - 00:14:08:04
on this page.

Getting your products order ready | SRBG_005

We've covered the creation of our basic products, but we're yet to assign any pricing or other elements that are critical in allowing our customers to place orders for them.

In this tutorial, we'll cover the basics of these features, including:

  • Basic product pricing

  • Creating and applying basic taxes

  • Fixed price shipping

  • Paying by purchase order

1. Navigate to Product Management

2. Click on Add new

To begin, let's create a simple product on which to undertake this configuration. This is simply to keep it separate from everything else we've created so far.

3. Type "Sample Priced Product"

Let's make it a Stock product.

You'll be taken to the Product Details screen for the product you just made.

There are numerous areas and means by which to price your Infigo products.

We have tiered pricing, pricing per page, discounts, "call for price" and much more.

Those are covered in the more detailed tutorials of the Infigo Academy. Here, we're focusing on the absolute basics of a fixed price.

Navigate down the Info page to the "Price" field and apply a price to your product.

10. Click on View product page

As always, this will let you view the product from the front-end of your Storefront.

11. Your price will be displayed on your product landing page

As you'd expect, adding the product to basket at this point would increase your basket total to match all of the products contained within it.

You can also specify a quantity if you wish to add more than one to basket. The price added to the basket total will be the quantity multiplied by the displayed price.

Your price will be displayed on your product landing page

# Adding taxes to your product

12. Navigate to Tax Categories

Tax categories are simply folders for your different tax rates. You aren't specifying a tax rate on this screen, simply creating a category which we can utilise in multiple ways in future steps.

You will be presented with a range of tax provision methods you can utilise within Infigo. This includes detailed specification of taxes by location and plugins with third-party tax systems such as TaxJar.

In this instance, we're once again keeping it quick and simple by specifying fixed tax rates. This allows us to define a fixed rate for any of the tax categories we've created.

Navigate to Tax Providers

17. Click on Fixed tax rate provider

The "is primary provider" column should confirm that, by default, fixed rate is selected as your tax provider.

If not, or if you wish to change it, simply click Select on the method you wish to use.

# Setting up basic delivery (or shipping) options for your product

An important note! Depending on where you are in the world, you may see some options from the following steps labelled slightly differently.

Depending on your location and which of our servers your platform is located, you may see the terms "Delivery" or "Shipping".

So, if I talk about one and you can't find it, try searching for the other!

30. Navigate to Delivery Methods

As with Tax Categories, Delivery Methods are essentially just folders. All you are doing on this screen is creating a Delivery Method. We'll be specifying what to do with that method later in the process.

Here, we will be focusing on the default method of accepting payment, commonly available on B2B storefronts. Purchase Orders.
