This update improves how stock levels are displayed for products that use attribute-based inventory, such as clothing with size and colour options.
Customers can now view stock availability for attribute combinations directly from teaser pages, without needing to open each product individually. Stock visibility has also been enhanced on the product landing page, making it quicker and easier to assess availability before purchasing.
Previous Behaviour
Previously, teaser pages displayed stock only for the default or preselected product combination. To check availability for other options, customers had to open the product page and manually select attribute values.
Out-of-stock options were not clearly visible until selected, which slowed down the buying journey and created unnecessary clicks.
What’s Changed
On teaser pages, the first attribute (either a dropdown or radio button) can now be displayed along with up to the first eight attribute combinations and their corresponding stock levels.
Customers can select attribute values directly from the teaser page, and pricing updates dynamically if selections or quantity changes affect the price. If an attribute value has no stock, it is automatically disabled and cannot be selected.

On the product landing page, stock levels can be displayed either inline or in a table format. Availability updates dynamically as attribute values change, and backorder rules are respected. Only valid and published attribute combinations are shown.

Selections made on teaser pages are carried through correctly when the product is added to the basket.
Display Name for Attribute Combinations
A new Display Name field has been introduced within Product Attribute Combinations. This allows clearer naming of combinations on the storefront.
For example, a combination can be displayed as:
Size: A5 + Colour: Red
Only combinations marked as Published will appear.
How to Configure This Feature
To enable attribute stock display, begin by ensuring the product has attributes assigned to it, such as Size or Colour. This feature supports Dropdown and Radio Button attribute types only. It is recommended to mark one attribute as “Is Preselected”, as this allows it to automatically display within the stock table on teaser pages.
Once attributes are in place, create the required attribute combinations. For example, you might configure a combination such as A5 + Red and assign a stock level of 500 units. Each combination should include a clear Display Name and be marked as Published, as stock will only display for active combinations.

Next, navigate to Catalogue Settings → Attribute Stock Display and enable the relevant display options. These settings control whether stock appears inline or in table format on both the product landing page and teaser pages, as well as whether attribute selection is allowed directly from teaser pages.

Once configured, both registered and guest users will be able to view stock information on the product landing page and, where enabled, on teaser pages. Any attribute selections made on teaser pages will be retained when adding the product to the basket.
Important Notes
This feature applies only to products using Infigo-managed stock and supports a single level of attributes. Multi-level attribute combinations are not included in this update. Stock and pricing regenerate dynamically as selections change, and out-of-stock values are automatically disabled.
Troubleshooting
If stock is not displaying as expected, check the following:
If no stock appears on teaser pages, confirm that:
-
The product uses Dropdown or Radio Button attributes.
-
At least one attribute is marked as “Is Preselected.”
-
Attribute combinations have been created and marked as Published.
-
Stock levels have been assigned to each combination.
-
The relevant options are enabled under Catalogue Settings → Attribute Stock Display.
If attribute values appear but stock does not show, verify that the product is using Infigo-managed stock and not relying on external inventory sources.
If options are not selectable or appear disabled unexpectedly, review:
If pricing or stock does not update when changing selections, confirm that:
-
Attribute combinations are configured correctly.
-
All required settings are enabled.
-
The attribute type is supported (Dropdown or Radio Button).
If the wrong attribute value is added to the basket, check whether a preselected attribute is influencing the default combination.
