Preview and Publish to Storefront in Infigo Invent

2Enter your storefront address and the key

Infigo Invent can now send your template from InDesign straight to your storefront. In the Export tab, Preview opens it in the editor, and Publish creates a new product or updates an existing one.

Test your template in the editor the way a customer would, without exporting a file first. When it looks right, publish it as a new product or replace the template of one you already have, all from InDesign.

How it works

Template authors using Invent can now make frames show or hide depending on the image a customer chooses. Rules can check whether an image was chosen or uploaded, or whether its name equals or contains text you set

Give your templates logic that reacts to the customer's image, for example a note that appears once a logo is chosen, or an offer for particular partner logos. Template authors get more control over what each customer sees.

Connect: HubSpot sends new customers to HubSpot as Contacts, new departments as Companies and, if you turn it on, placed orders as Deals.

Your storefront now feeds your HubSpot CRM automatically. Everything is sent in the background, so registrations and orders never wait for HubSpot, and it flows one way, from your storefront to HubSpot.

How it works

The Infigo AI Assistant in your admin area now opens from an Ask AI button in the top bar, with a Beta badge beside it. Ask a question in your own words and it answers from the Infigo Academy, with links to the articles it used.

Type your question the way you would ask a colleague. Follow-up questions keep the context of the conversation, and a quick "Was it useful?" lets you tell us how each answer did.

System > Diagnostic Recorder lets you record what the platform does while you reproduce a problem, then read and clear the result.

It shows what the platform did while you reproduce a problem, such as why a checkout option was not offered, or what was sent to a connected print system. A clear text trail to work from when troubleshooting.

Set product display defaults once for your whole storefront

How it works

2Open the Default Product Display Settings tab

Product display options such as breadcrumbs can now be set once for your whole storefront, instead of product by product.

Choose your defaults once and new products follow them, as does any product you switch to Inherit, which saves real time on a storefront with many products. Any product can still keep a value of its own.

Safer API keys for Infigo Sync and Connect Switch, and an easier Infigo Sync setup

Infigo Sync and Connect Switch API keys now work only for the actions those connections need, and Infigo Sync is much simpler to set up: download a ready-made installer from the new Connected Apps page in your Admin area.

These keys can no longer be used for anything beyond what Infigo Sync and Connect Switch need, which makes them safer. Existing keys are updated automatically, and Infigo Sync now comes as a ready-made installer.

Message Queue: email templates, filters and deleting emails

The Message Queue (System > Message Queue) now shows which email message template created each newly queued email, with advanced filters to find the emails you need and a way to delete several at once.

Each newly queued email shows the template that created it, so you can open that template and correct it. Advanced search helps you find the emails you need, and you can delete several at once.

Per-product fees, and fees and shipping as PunchOut line items

Products and product groups can now carry their own Order, Job and Product fees, and Connect: PunchOut can send fees and shipping to your procurement system as separate classified line items.

Charge fees at the level that suits you: once per order, for each order line, or once per product. Your procurement system can receive these fees and the shipping cost as separate line items instead of one total.

Convert or delete all test customers when a storefront goes Live

When you switch a storefront from Test to Live, you can now convert all of its test customers to Live, or delete them, in a single action.

Going live no longer means converting customers one by one. A pop-up shows the progress and confirms how many customers were converted.

Connect: Flow can now notify any system you choose each time an order's status changes, so it no longer has to keep asking.

Each notification carries the full order, the type of status that changed and its new value, so your system can react straight away. It covers order, payment, approval, production and blocker status, and cancelled order lines.

The email address field on billing and delivery addresses can now be shown without being mandatory, and made required separately for billing and for delivery.

Show the email field everywhere, but insist on it only where it matters to your business. At checkout, customers are warned if a saved address is missing a required email.

Image uploads in Infigo Invent templates now show real-time progress and a clear message if an upload fails, and you can cancel an upload that is in progress.

The progress bar for PDF uploads on multipart products now has plain-language status messages in the customer's preferred language and keeps moving, so a working upload no longer looks stalled.

Customers can now rename the reference of an existing CERM product directly from the Products table in My Account, without placing a new order.

Infigo API client for .NET on NuGet

The Infigo REST API has an official .NET client on NuGet, so developers can call it with typed methods instead of hand-written HTTP calls.

Developers get typed methods for areas such as Order, Customer and CatalogV2, in both synchronous and asynchronous forms. The API documentation is clearer too, with consistent endpoint names and fuller descriptions.
