Introduction
The Accept.Blue payment gateway integration allows your Infigo storefront to securely process card and ACH payments using Accept.Blue’s hosted tokenisation and payment services.
Accept.Blue operates on top of PayTrace infrastructure but offers more competitive pricing and simplified onboarding. This integration gives you the same core payment capabilities previously available with PayTrace, while reducing cost and improving flexibility.
This article explains what the integration does, why it was introduced, and how to configure and use it on your storefront.
What the Accept.Blue integration does
Once enabled, the Accept.Blue integration allows Infigo to:
-
Securely collect payment details using hosted tokenisation
-
Authorise payments at checkout
-
Capture payments immediately or later
-
Void authorisations
-
Issue full and partial refunds
-
Support both card payments and ACH (where enabled on your account)
All sensitive payment data is handled by Accept.Blue, meaning no card or bank details are stored in Infigo.
Why this was added
Previously, customers using PayTrace:
-
Faced higher transaction costs
-
Had limited flexibility when onboarding new payment providers
-
Relied on bespoke development for alternative gateways
Accept.Blue provides:
-
Lower processing costs
-
A modern tokenisation approach
-
Feature parity with PayTrace
-
Faster onboarding for customers already using Accept.Blue
This integration gives customers a supported, cost-effective alternative without sacrificing functionality.
What it replaces or changes
Before:
Now:
-
Accept.Blue can be used as a direct alternative
-
The checkout experience remains familiar to customers
-
Admin payment workflows (capture, refund, void) behave consistently with other gateways
Before you start
Before configuring Accept.Blue in Infigo, make sure you have:
-
An active Accept.Blue account
-
Access to your Accept.Blue merchant portal
-
The following credentials from Accept.Blue:
-
Admin access to your Infigo storefront
-
Your storefront currency set correctly (USD is required for fixed-price products)
⚠️ Important
Sandbox credentials must never be used on a live storefront. Always double-check you are using live credentials before going live.
Step 1 – Configure Accept.Blue credentials
-
Go to Admin → Payments Methods
-
Click on the Configure button for the Accept.Blue Payment Method

In the Accept.Blue payment method settings, enter:
Save the settings.

Use Test Connection to verify that the credentials are valid.
✅ A successful test confirms Infigo can communicate with Accept.Blue.

Step 3 – Choose your capture mode
Accept.Blue supports multiple payment flows. Choose the option that matches your business process:
-
Manually
Funds are authorised at checkout and captured later manually.
-
On Order Placement
Funds are captured as soon as the order is placed.
-
On Shipped
Authorisation happens at checkout, with capture triggered later (for example, on approval or dispatch).

Select your preferred mode in the payment method settings and save.
Step 4 – Configure error-handling payment method (recommended)
For storefronts using fixed-price or special error-handling products:
This ensures compatibility with fixed-price items that must be processed in USD.
Step 5 – Enable the payment method
Once configured:
-
Ensure the payment method is enabled
-
Assign it to the correct storefront(s)
-
Check display order if multiple payment methods are available

The Accept.Blue option will now appear at checkout.
How checkout works for customers
At checkout:
-
The customer selects Accept.Blue as the payment method
-
Payment details are entered via secure hosted fields
-
No sensitive data passes through Infigo
-
The order is placed based on your selected capture mode

The customer experience is seamless and consistent with other hosted payment gateways.
