You’ll learn how to enable the Upload UI on a MegaEdit product, optionally allow switching to the full MegaEdit editor, and turn on multi-page PDF support via Media Album Settings. How to use MegaEdit Upload UI

0:00
Hi, welcome to the Infigo Academy.

0:02
In this video we'll be showing you how to configure and utilise the Mega Edit Upload UI functionality.

0:09
First, let's go over what Upload UI is and what it can be used for.

0:14
Upload UI supports the ability to upload print ready artwork, allowing your customers to create outputs from a preconfigured canvas that perfectly fits their art.

0:24
It's almost like a fast track way to create an output compared to our full Mega Edit editor that allows full customization and in application design.

0:33
To start, ensure you've created a Mega Edit product and assign their necessities like canvas, stock, output type, and font.

0:43
Once completed, navigate to the Mega Edit Configuration section for this product and under the Upload UI section, tick the Use Upload UI checkbox.

0:52
You also have the ability to allow the full Mega Edit editor in the Upload UI section.

0:57
In this example, we'll show you with this setting enabled, but you have the option to keep it disabled if you wish to.

1:04
By default, the Upload UI flow allows only one page PDFs to be uploaded.

1:09
To allow multi page PDF uploads, navigate to the Media Album Settings page.

1:14
In the admin area, enable the Media Support Multiple Pages setting and click Save.

1:20
Once completed, navigate to your storefront and open the product landing page for the relevant product and click Start.

1:27
You'll be redirected to the Megaedit Upload UI interface.

1:36
As you can see, you're shown the minimum page dimensions, the page limit, the number of pages that have already been uploaded, as well as how many pages they need to upload to meet the minimum page requirements.

1:48
This can all be set in the Megaedit product properties.

1:52
Click on the Browse Files button and select your artwork PDF.

1:55
You'll see the PDF pages start to load in the Upload UI editor.

2:00
You'll be able to see the name of the uploaded PDF as well as the dimensions of the PDF which directly correlate to the size the dynamic canvas has adjusted to.

2:09
If you have specific pages you don't want to include in the output, you can remove them individually via the X button.

2:16
If you want to wipe the slate clean and start fresh, you can click on the Remove All button and it will delete all the pages.

2:36
You also have the ability to preview what the output would generate like via the Show Preview button.

2:41
If you're happy with the preview, you can click on the Add to basket button and place the order.

2:46
However, if you want to make some changes, maybe the preview is cutting off some elements in your artwork like it has with My artwork.

2:53
You also have the ability to edit in full editor.

3:03
If you click this button, you'll be redirected to the full Mega Edit Editor, where you can rearrange or redesign the artwork as you please.

3:46
Once you're happy with the changes, make sure you confirm with the preview and once confirmed, add to your basket and place the order.

4:09
Now, if the admin navigates to the Shared Print Operations section, he'll see the generated UI upload artwork.

4:26
And that's all for this video.

4:27
See you in the next one.
