Navigating the Infigo Admin Area

0:00 Hi, welcome to the infigo academy. In this video, we'll be walking you through how to navigate the admin area on the infigo platform.
0:09 As you can see here, you have eight main options in the header of the platform that take you to the related external website.
0:16 But you also have the left side menu to help you navigate the platform itself. notifications, language drop down, the current account ID, switch store for an option, clear cache button and the logout option.
0:46 The release notes option will take you to an external tab showing you our new recently released features and enhancements. The helpdesk option will redirect you to our Enfego Helpdesk page where you can do things like submitting a new request, like a custom development request or raising a bug ticket
1:21 , or you can look at our Enfigure Academy content in organized tile categories. The Enfigure Academy option will take you to the homepage of the academy where you can search for video tutorials, help guides and articles.
1:45 You can also track your onboarding progress here. The Notifications option will show you all of the special alerts like our recent release notes article or are upcoming Infigo Academy webinars.
2:26 Next, you have the language dropdown which allows you to customize the language of your platform. After the language dropdown, it shows you the current storefront you have selected.
2:50 As you can see here, we have the Infigo Playground Storefront selected. To go hand in hand with this storefront ID indicator, you have the storefront selected to the right.
3:02 This option allows you to change and configure a different storefront. Next, you have the clear cache option. This option will clear your platform cache.
3:21 For example, if you make storefront styling changes, you may need to clear the cache before seeing changes reflected on the storefront.
3:28 Then you have the logout option. This option will allow you to exit the platform admin area. Moving onto the left side menu, you can see a search bar displaying at the top of the menu.
3:42 This search bar will return any relevant results for the value you have entered. For example, if I enter product into the search bar, it will display related results like product management, product groups, product attributes, mega-edit products, static products, etc.
4:03 If you don't wish to use the search bar, you can manually expand each platform area just by clicking on the main categories in the left menu.
4:12 Think of it as a folder tree. Each category may have subcategories that can also be expanded. However, you may find it easier to use the search bar if you know the area you want to locate.
