Admin Area Settings Walkthrough

0:00 Hi, welcome to the infigo academy. In this video we're going to look at the admin area settings page in infigo and walk through what each section controls.
0:10 This is where you can manage how your admin grids display, which product types are enabled on your storefront and how color status filters are used.
0:19 At the top, you'll see grid page size. This number controls how many rows you see in your admin grids by default.
0:26 For example, setting this to 50 means that every grid like your product list, orders or customers will show 50 items per page unless you manually change it.
0:37 Below that, you can set which page size options appear in the drop down. These are the choices your admins can switch between.
0:44 So if you add 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50, those will be selectable items in any grid. Next, we have display product pictures.
0:56 When this is enabled, the product grid if the admin area will allow small thumbnail images next to each product, which can help you identify items more quickly.
1:06 The next section is product types. These checkboxes control which product creation flows are available on your storefront. If a product type is not enabled here, you won't be able to create or edit products of that type.
1:20 Let's run through the main options you'll see. We have in figure products enabled, make edit products enabled, symphony products enabled, multi-part products enabled, widen enabled, test enabled, bag assembly enabled, printOS composer enabled, kit enabled, attributes is product enabled, multi-part product
1:41 enabled and print test product enabled. Only enable the product types you actually use. This keeps your system clean and reduces admin confusion.
1:52 Also, for more information on these product types, check out our other academy content. The final section is colors. This is where you can configure the color coding used across the admin area for specific statuses.
2:06 For example, orders that are in basket or completed. You can filter by type using the drop-down on the right or search for specific status names using the field on the left.
2:17 If you don't see any results yet, it simply means no custom colors have been set on your storefront. That's everything in the admin area settings page.
