00:00:07:25 - 00:00:08:21
In this tutorial,

00:00:08:21 - 00:00:11:21
we'll take a look at how to enable
the quick ordering feature,

00:00:11:24 - 00:00:15:16
which allows the selection
of multiple items within a category page

00:00:15:18 - 00:00:20:06
and allows them to be added to the basket
or cart in one operation.

00:00:20:08 - 00:00:22:20
Enabling this feature is quick and simple.

00:00:22:20 - 00:00:24:15
It can also be assisted by the ability

00:00:24:15 - 00:00:27:29
to select quantities
from the category pages themselves.

00:00:28:01 - 00:00:30:20
This is another option
that we need to enable, and I'll show you

00:00:30:20 - 00:00:33:20
how to do this as well.

00:00:33:27 - 00:00:38:00
What we have on screen at the moment
is our standard category set up.

00:00:38:03 - 00:00:41:03
So this is an example of a standard
category view

00:00:41:10 - 00:00:45:07
where we can access any of the product
pages from within the category screen

00:00:45:10 - 00:00:48:08
just by clicking on the associated tile.

00:00:48:08 - 00:00:50:00
We also have the ability to directly

00:00:50:00 - 00:00:53:20
add any of these items
or products to our basket.

00:00:53:22 - 00:00:58:22
However,
we can only do this one at a time.

00:00:58:24 - 00:01:00:09
So what we're going to do is modify this

00:01:00:09 - 00:01:04:14
so we can add multiple items at once
to our basket.

00:01:04:16 - 00:01:05:16
Two things to do here.

00:01:05:16 - 00:01:08:22
One is within the category page itself,

00:01:08:22 - 00:01:11:22
so within
the actual set up of that category.

00:01:11:28 - 00:01:16:29
So if I navigate to my categories, list
sort of manage categories, pages,

00:01:17:02 - 00:01:22:00
and then edit my relevant category,

00:01:22:03 - 00:01:26:07
I'm then going to go to my display
Settings tab,

00:01:26:10 - 00:01:28:14
locate the add to basket mode

00:01:28:14 - 00:01:31:14
dropdown,
which will be all normal by default.

00:01:31:15 - 00:01:34:27
Now I'm going to switch that
to multi select.

00:01:35:00 - 00:01:39:21
So this switches the category user
interface to enable the multi select

00:01:39:21 - 00:01:43:18
icon on each of the category tiles
that we'll see in a moment.

00:01:43:21 - 00:01:47:05
This will need to be done for
each category on which you wish to enable

00:01:47:12 - 00:01:51:06
this particular feature.

00:01:51:09 - 00:01:54:26
Click Save and continue. Edit

00:01:54:28 - 00:01:57:11
Now the other option is to allow you

00:01:57:11 - 00:02:01:09
to input the quantity on the tile as well
within the category page.

00:02:01:11 - 00:02:06:12
So this is a separate setting
which is within the catalog settings.

00:02:06:14 - 00:02:09:08
Just search for catalog settings
within the menu.

00:02:09:08 - 00:02:13:00
And within here you just looking for show
quantity selector

00:02:13:03 - 00:02:15:21
in catalog pages.

00:02:15:21 - 00:02:18:21
This just needs to be enabled once

00:02:18:25 - 00:02:21:06
click save and that will now be enabled.

00:02:21:06 - 00:02:26:22
Storefront wide.

00:02:26:24 - 00:02:27:24
I'm now going to navigate

00:02:27:24 - 00:02:30:24
again to the category page
on the front end of my storefront.

00:02:30:27 - 00:02:34:07
So in my case,
I'm just going to refresh this page

00:02:34:09 - 00:02:38:16
and what you can see is some very subtle
differences in how this works now.

00:02:38:16 - 00:02:43:24
So we've got a checkbox on the bottom left
of each of those of those product tiles.

00:02:43:24 - 00:02:46:25
Now this means that they can
be multi selected.

00:02:47:01 - 00:02:49:07
Mike So

00:02:49:09 - 00:02:51:29
as such, you've
already got a few additional options

00:02:51:29 - 00:02:54:26
appearing at the top here
so we can get it to select all products.

00:02:54:26 - 00:02:58:19
If we wish to do so,
we can clear our selected items.

00:02:58:22 - 00:03:03:14
And then there's the add to basket button.

00:03:03:17 - 00:03:07:04
Now would you also have the ability to
change the quantities we want to utilize?

00:03:07:06 - 00:03:10:06
So this is where I can just hover
over the actual tile

00:03:10:06 - 00:03:15:13
and change those quantities.

00:03:15:16 - 00:03:18:05
Click add to basket.

00:03:18:05 - 00:03:22:09
And then if I navigate to my basket
screen,

00:03:22:11 - 00:03:25:13
we'll see that those products
have now been added to our basket

00:03:25:19 - 00:03:29:15
with the specified quantities.

00:03:29:18 - 00:03:30:05
And that's it.

00:03:30:05 - 00:03:31:19
Nice and simple.

00:03:31:19 - 00:03:34:15
So this is quick
ordering from category pages.
