00:00:05:15 - 00:00:06:24
In this tutorial, we'll take

00:00:06:24 - 00:00:10:20
a look at the rewards points
capabilities of Infigo.

00:00:10:23 - 00:00:14:07
This functionality allows you
to apply points to a customer account

00:00:14:09 - 00:00:19:11
for various actions such as registration
and for purchases.

00:00:19:14 - 00:00:21:26
These points can
then be applied to future purchases

00:00:21:26 - 00:00:25:03
at an exchange rate of your choosing.

00:00:25:06 - 00:00:27:23
We'll start by navigating to the Rewards

00:00:27:23 - 00:00:35:07
Points section.

00:00:35:10 - 00:00:38:25
The first thing we're going to do
is to click enabled.

00:00:38:28 - 00:00:43:25
The reward points are disabled by default
unless this checkbox is ticked.

00:00:43:28 - 00:00:49:07
This will activate the use
of reward points across this storefront.

00:00:49:09 - 00:00:53:04
We're going to click Save

00:00:53:07 - 00:00:55:12
now as a few of the settings
we want to work with.

00:00:55:12 - 00:00:59:27
So one of them is the entering
of an exchange rate.

00:01:00:00 - 00:01:04:10
This is where you specify how much reward
points are worth in monetary value

00:01:04:12 - 00:01:05:04
by default.

00:01:05:04 - 00:01:08:04
You get £1 or one of your

00:01:08:08 - 00:01:12:04
default currency from the storefront
equals one reward point.

00:01:12:07 - 00:01:17:04
You can change that as you see fit.

00:01:17:06 - 00:01:19:09
If required, you can also specify

00:01:19:09 - 00:01:23:29
how many reward points customers
receive upon registering for the site.

00:01:24:01 - 00:01:27:15
So by default
it will say ten points for registration,

00:01:27:18 - 00:01:31:02
but you can change that
to whatever you like.

00:01:31:05 - 00:01:34:18
We can also specify
how many reward points customers receive.

00:01:34:20 - 00:01:38:13
A set amount of spend
that's in this box here.

00:01:38:13 - 00:01:40:13
So points for purchases.

00:01:40:13 - 00:01:44:15
what we're saying
is that, well, by default, for each £10

00:01:44:15 - 00:01:47:20
that spend,
you will earn one reward point.

00:01:47:23 - 00:01:53:01
But again,
you can change that as you see fit.

00:01:53:03 - 00:01:54:16
Then the last two settings here

00:01:54:16 - 00:01:58:05
are to specify at which point
of the ordering and fulfillment process.

00:01:58:11 - 00:02:01:23
The reward points are applied
to the customer account.

00:02:01:26 - 00:02:04:23
So awarded order status

00:02:04:23 - 00:02:06:28
by default is when the order is completed.

00:02:06:28 - 00:02:09:20
But you can do other options here as well.

00:02:09:20 - 00:02:12:23
And then we have a cancel status as well.

00:02:12:23 - 00:02:17:00
So when the points will be removed,

00:02:17:02 - 00:02:22:05
if the order is canceled,

00:02:22:08 - 00:02:22:20
well,

00:02:22:20 - 00:02:25:20
click on Save to confirm those options.

00:02:25:20 - 00:02:28:00
Next, we'll take a look
at how to manually change

00:02:28:00 - 00:02:31:00
the number of reward points
that a customer has.

00:02:31:06 - 00:02:33:11
We'll start off
by navigating to our customer

00:02:33:11 - 00:02:39:25
management screen

00:02:39:27 - 00:02:41:10
and then click on edit

00:02:41:10 - 00:02:47:21
next to one of our customer entries.

00:02:47:24 - 00:02:49:20
Now, when the reward points active,

00:02:49:20 - 00:02:53:21
we now have a reward points
tab associated with the customer.

00:02:53:24 - 00:02:58:00
Click on that to see the amount of points
that they have available.

00:02:58:02 - 00:03:02:10
Now you can see I've previously done
something on reward points

00:03:02:10 - 00:03:05:17
with this particular customer,
so you can see that we've got a track

00:03:05:18 - 00:03:09:08
record
of the current balance of reward points

00:03:09:10 - 00:03:12:10
as well as the history of their rewards
points.

00:03:12:14 - 00:03:15:00
So we've added a menu ten points

00:03:15:00 - 00:03:19:05
for sign up bonus
and then they've removed ten points

00:03:19:08 - 00:03:21:18
because they've actually utilized
that in one of their orders.

00:03:21:18 - 00:03:26:19
So keep track of the points
used by that particular customer.

00:03:26:21 - 00:03:31:01
Now we can also manually add or modify
reward points.

00:03:31:03 - 00:03:34:03
You can specify the amount of points
to reward.

00:03:34:03 - 00:03:36:22
So if I set ten points, for example,

00:03:36:22 - 00:03:39:26
you can specify whether this is
an amendment to the existing number

00:03:39:26 - 00:03:45:10
of points, or you can say it's
an absolute adjustment if you want to just

00:03:45:10 - 00:03:50:25
create this many points
on that entire customer account.

00:03:50:27 - 00:03:53:16
You can also optionally put a message
in here

00:03:53:16 - 00:03:58:27
to explain why these points were awarded.

00:03:58:29 - 00:04:01:08
Click on Add reward points
and you'll see those are now

00:04:01:08 - 00:04:05:02
added to that particular customer.

00:04:05:05 - 00:04:08:05
I just go ahead and save that and

00:04:08:09 - 00:04:09:27
move back to my reward points tab.

00:04:09:27 - 00:04:12:10
We can see that our entire balance
has been updated as well.

00:04:12:10 - 00:04:17:03
That just needed a refresh.

00:04:17:06 - 00:04:17:22
The next let's

00:04:17:22 - 00:04:21:17
take a look at how our customers interact
with and utilize

00:04:21:17 - 00:04:25:14
their reward points on the front end
experience with items in the baskets.

00:04:25:14 - 00:04:37:25
We're going to proceed
through the checkout

00:04:37:27 - 00:04:39:25
on the payment method screen.

00:04:39:25 - 00:04:42:19
Your customers will have the option
to utilize their accrued

00:04:42:19 - 00:04:46:08
reward points
with this little checkbox here.

00:04:46:11 - 00:04:50:10
This is saying that we have ten reward
points, which is worth £10 available

00:04:50:10 - 00:04:54:12
for use.

00:04:54:15 - 00:04:58:04
The use of reward points is detailed
in the order summary page

00:04:58:06 - 00:05:03:12
prior to the order that's been placed.

00:05:03:14 - 00:05:07:04
If I go back to the sales area
inside admin, we can also see

00:05:07:04 - 00:05:10:26
that the use of reward points
is noted within this sales app area.
