00:00:13:05 - 00:00:14:17
In this tutorial we'll learn

00:00:14:17 - 00:00:18:23
how to enable our Easypost plugin
within Infigo,

00:00:18:23 - 00:00:22:14
with information on accessing
additional Easypost plug in settings

00:00:22:22 - 00:00:25:06
and testing the link
between the two systems.

00:00:26:24 - 00:00:30:04
So please do bear in mind, prior
to completing these steps,

00:00:30:04 - 00:00:33:06
you need to have purchased Infigo’s
Easypost plugin

00:00:33:18 - 00:00:39:01
and you need to have created
an account with Easypost.

00:00:39:01 - 00:00:40:27
So the first thing we're going to do
is navigate

00:00:40:27 - 00:00:43:13
to our connect settings within Infigo.

00:00:44:25 - 00:00:47:26
This gives you the list
of all of your enabled connect

00:00:48:00 - 00:00:51:24
plugins.

00:00:51:24 - 00:00:55:04
I'm going to locate the Easypost section
within here

00:00:58:04 - 00:00:58:28
and then I'm also going

00:00:58:28 - 00:01:02:25
to make sure that Easypost is selected
in the plugins

00:01:02:25 - 00:01:06:29
to handle delivery section,
which is a bit further down.

00:01:06:29 - 00:01:10:12
So just check the box
there as well, making sure the Easypost

00:01:10:12 - 00:01:13:26
is being utilized.

00:01:13:26 - 00:01:22:19
Scroll
to the top of that page and click Save.

00:01:22:19 - 00:01:24:29
So that actually activates
our Connect plugin.

00:01:25:06 - 00:01:28:19
Now we need to go ahead
and do some of the initial configuration.

00:01:29:02 - 00:01:31:22
So I'm going to navigate to the Connect
plugins

00:01:31:22 - 00:01:34:28
screen.

00:01:34:28 - 00:01:38:15
Again, this will show you a list of all of
your Connect plugins that are available.

00:01:38:15 - 00:01:44:04
So your list is likely to be much shorter
than this.

00:01:44:04 - 00:01:46:29
I'm going to locate the Easypost section

00:01:47:21 - 00:01:51:18
and click Configure.

00:01:51:18 - 00:01:53:03
Now, there's a lot of options in here

00:01:53:03 - 00:01:56:29
that we'll be covering over
the next few tutorial videos.

00:01:57:10 - 00:01:58:07
For the time being,

00:01:58:07 - 00:02:02:10
we're just focusing on our initial setup
and connecting the two systems.

00:02:02:21 - 00:02:06:05
So what we need to
focus on is these API keys.

00:02:07:17 - 00:02:08:15
So initially we have the

00:02:08:15 - 00:02:13:14
API key here.

00:02:13:14 - 00:02:17:11
So this API key can be obtained
from your Easypost account

00:02:17:11 - 00:02:19:13
and I'll show you that in a moment.

00:02:19:13 - 00:02:23:16
And it can be either
your test API key or your production

00:02:23:26 - 00:02:27:02
API key
depending on whether you're testing

00:02:27:20 - 00:02:30:18
and do not want to have shipments
actually created

00:02:30:21 - 00:02:34:22
with your shipping providers.

00:02:34:22 - 00:02:37:01
The production API key.

00:02:37:01 - 00:02:39:28
So this again can also be obtained
from your easy first account

00:02:40:06 - 00:02:44:10
and should always be the production
API key as this is used to fetch

00:02:44:10 - 00:02:50:12
your list of available carriers
mapped to your Easypost account.

00:02:52:01 - 00:02:54:19
So let's take a look
at where to obtain this information.

00:02:55:01 - 00:02:57:24
I've got my Easypost account
open on the right hand side

00:02:58:16 - 00:03:01:15
and I'm on the dashboard screen now.

00:03:01:15 - 00:03:04:22
All I want to do
is click on the dropdown box, which is

00:03:05:18 - 00:03:08:02
labeled as my registered email address,

00:03:09:04 - 00:03:09:14
and then I'm

00:03:09:14 - 00:03:11:21
going to click on the API key option.

00:03:12:14 - 00:03:16:19
Now, as we mentioned in a previous
tutorial, this gives you two sections.

00:03:16:19 - 00:03:20:13
One is the test API key,
one is the production API key.

00:03:20:23 - 00:03:23:26
You can have multiple of both if you

00:03:24:02 - 00:03:27:03
if you need to
for your particular configuration.

00:03:27:03 - 00:03:30:18
In your particular scenario, if you've
only just set up your Easypost account,

00:03:30:25 - 00:03:32:06
you likely just to have one.

00:03:32:06 - 00:03:35:23
Each of these.

00:03:35:23 - 00:03:40:22
And all you're going to do is take those
API keys from here using this copy button

00:03:41:02 - 00:03:44:29
and paste them directly
into the Easypost settings within Infigo

00:03:45:14 - 00:03:48:29
So just as a reminder,
the API key section can be either

00:03:49:06 - 00:03:53:00
the test API key or the production
API key depending on

00:03:53:00 - 00:03:56:08
if you're in your test environment
or your production environment.

00:03:57:07 - 00:03:58:24
So I'll take my

00:03:58:24 - 00:04:00:09
test key

00:04:02:18 - 00:04:04:16
and then we have the production API key,

00:04:04:16 - 00:04:18:02
which should always match our production
section.

00:04:18:02 - 00:04:22:01
Click on Save to confirm the settings

00:04:24:03 - 00:04:26:13
and then go back to plugin list.

00:04:26:13 - 00:04:28:20
And what we want to do from here
is to actually test

00:04:28:20 - 00:04:30:26
whether the connection
has been successful.

00:04:30:26 - 00:04:33:28
So if we scroll back down
to the Easypost section

00:04:36:21 - 00:04:39:10
and then click on Check Connection

00:04:39:10 - 00:04:41:18
and what we should find
if it's been successful

00:04:41:18 - 00:04:42:27
or whether it's failed,

00:04:42:27 - 00:04:46:04
is we get a resulting message
pop up down at the bottom of the screen.

00:04:46:16 - 00:04:51:05
If it comes up as green, it's successfully
connected and red will mean it's failed.

00:04:51:05 - 00:04:53:11
And we'll hopefully give you
some additional information

00:04:53:20 - 00:05:03:14
on what the failure was.

00:05:03:14 - 00:05:06:23
Just as a side note here,
the Easypost configuration settings

00:05:06:23 - 00:05:10:20
can also be obtained
through the delivery computation screen.

00:05:10:20 - 00:05:14:16
If you remember
when we were setting up this this initial

00:05:15:16 - 00:05:16:07
plug in,

00:05:16:07 - 00:05:20:16
we enabled the Easypost to be able
to be used for delivery purposes.

00:05:20:16 - 00:05:24:14
This means we can also access the settings
through the delivery side of Infigo.

00:05:25:14 - 00:05:27:24
So if I go to the delivery computation

00:05:27:24 - 00:05:28:23
screen

00:05:33:25 - 00:05:36:07
and you'll see that
I have an Easypost option

00:05:36:26 - 00:05:43:11
on my list of delivery computations,
if I click on configure next to Easypost,

00:05:43:29 - 00:05:48:00
that will just take me directly
to the same Easypost settings screen.

00:05:48:00 - 00:05:59:10
So under the hood is all still one plugin.

00:05:59:10 - 00:06:01:29
If using Easypost
to provide delivery options,

00:06:01:29 - 00:06:05:10
be sure to enable it
within your delivery computation window.

00:06:05:24 - 00:06:08:17
So you can see I've done this
on my particular storefront already.

00:06:08:29 - 00:06:12:11
However, if you've not got a checkbox
in the IS active field

00:06:12:11 - 00:06:15:14
next to Easypost,
just make sure that you click edit

00:06:16:23 - 00:06:17:22
selects the is

00:06:17:22 - 00:06:20:17
active checkbox
for Easypost and click update.

00:06:21:00 - 00:06:25:04
That means it will then be a viable option
in the checkout process

00:06:25:04 - 00:06:26:06
for your customers.
