00:00:05:15 - 00:00:06:27
Congratulations on purchasing

00:00:06:27 - 00:00:11:04
Infigo you've taken that important
first step in your Web to print journey.

00:00:11:06 - 00:00:12:29
But where do you go next?

00:00:12:29 - 00:00:13:18
Well, don't worry.

00:00:13:18 - 00:00:17:11
We've got you covered with our Lightning
Build Guide.

00:00:17:13 - 00:00:20:01
Infigo is a software that scales with you.

00:00:20:01 - 00:00:22:22
If you need a super simple storefront,
no problem.

00:00:22:22 - 00:00:25:24
As you'll see in this tutorial,
you can get a basic storefront

00:00:25:24 - 00:00:28:24
up and running as quick as a flash.

00:00:29:01 - 00:00:31:06
Remember that
this guide has been constructed

00:00:31:06 - 00:00:35:06
to give you a surface
level overview of storefront builds.

00:00:35:08 - 00:00:39:00
You'll see concepts and names
which may seem a little unfamiliar,

00:00:39:02 - 00:00:42:16
along with many settings that we’ll
not really touch at all.

00:00:42:16 - 00:00:44:14
In this tutorial.

00:00:44:14 - 00:00:47:14
Don't worry, we'll get to all of those
in later tutorials.

00:00:47:15 - 00:00:50:16
Plus,
our Infigo Academy is full of information

00:00:50:16 - 00:00:54:19
on all things in Infigo.

00:00:54:21 - 00:00:57:09
Want to jump straight to something
a little more substantial?

00:00:57:09 - 00:00:58:18
No problem at all.

00:00:58:18 - 00:01:03:16
Check your Infigo Academy portal account
for more advanced learning pathways.

00:01:03:18 - 00:01:06:18
These will go through our software
in much greater detail,

00:01:06:19 - 00:01:10:18
but of course that means a bigger
time commitment as well.

00:01:10:21 - 00:01:11:09
So without

00:01:11:09 - 00:01:14:16
further ado, let's get started
with our lightning build.

00:01:14:16 - 00:01:17:09
Start
by logging into your platform account.

00:01:17:09 - 00:01:18:21
You should have received an email

00:01:18:21 - 00:01:21:29
from one of our team
with your login details included.

00:01:22:01 - 00:01:25:14
That includes your platform login details
which will take you to the

00:01:25:20 - 00:01:29:19
entire platform level, which governs
all of your individual storefronts.

00:01:29:21 - 00:01:32:25
And then you've got a sample storefront
which has already been set up,

00:01:32:25 - 00:01:36:29
which you can access as well.

00:01:37:01 - 00:01:38:07
Go to your platform.

00:01:38:07 - 00:01:42:16
URL is listed here and log
in with the platform credentials.

00:01:42:19 - 00:01:45:16
Once you've logged
in, let's begin by creating a new

00:01:45:16 - 00:01:49:06
storefront
which sits on your Infigo platform.

00:01:49:08 - 00:01:52:01
Each platform
can have numerous storefronts limited

00:01:52:01 - 00:01:56:11
by the amount of storefronts
that you've purchased from Infigo.

00:01:56:13 - 00:02:00:08
So we're going to click
on the storefront management section.

00:02:00:10 - 00:02:03:01
So that's within configuration

00:02:03:03 - 00:02:07:06
and then storefront management.

00:02:07:09 - 00:02:08:03
Click on the Plus

00:02:08:03 - 00:02:11:03
icon to see
all of your existing storefronts.

00:02:11:07 - 00:02:14:07
Now my case, I've got much
more than you will have in your list.

00:02:14:09 - 00:02:16:12
You'll likely just have the platform level

00:02:16:12 - 00:02:20:23
and then one sample storefront
that we've set up for you

00:02:20:25 - 00:02:22:02
to create a new storefront.

00:02:22:02 - 00:02:26:27
Click on Add new Storefront
on the right hand side.

00:02:26:29 - 00:02:27:18
This will bring up

00:02:27:18 - 00:02:30:29
a separate form where you can enter
your storefront details.

00:02:31:01 - 00:02:36:26
So you want to enter a name description
and an alias for your new storefront.

00:02:36:29 - 00:02:44:09
Now the alias defines
the URL used to access the storefront.

00:02:44:11 - 00:02:47:06
So in my case, for example, the platform

00:02:47:06 - 00:02:53:09
URL is training.infigosoftware.com.

00:02:53:11 - 00:02:56:22
However, the addition of an alias
will allow me to access this

00:02:56:22 - 00:03:01:03
storefront on the platform
so the storefront will be accessed using

00:03:01:05 - 00:03:06:18
training.infigosoftware.com forward slash
whatever is in the alias.

00:03:06:18 - 00:03:13:08
So /lightning2 to in my case.

00:03:13:11 - 00:03:15:23
Here you
can also define the storefront type.

00:03:15:23 - 00:03:20:25
So a selection of whether you want
to utilize this for B2B or B2C purposes.

00:03:20:27 - 00:03:24:23
You can define default
storefront appearance colours

00:03:24:25 - 00:03:30:16
and you can update your fonts
and upload a logo.

00:03:30:18 - 00:03:32:28
Once you've input all that information,
click on.

00:03:32:28 - 00:03:38:08
Okay.

00:03:38:11 - 00:03:41:21
Now, the storefront does
take a couple of minutes to initialize.

00:03:41:23 - 00:03:45:17
You can keep hitting the refresh
icon down here periodically

00:03:45:19 - 00:03:51:06
until the status reads from initialization
pending to test.

00:03:51:08 - 00:03:54:26
Once your storefront is ready
to fully deploy, you can later change this

00:03:54:26 - 00:03:59:12
status from test to live and clear out
data such as customers

00:03:59:12 - 00:04:03:02
that you might not need
and might have setup for testing purposes.

00:04:03:05 - 00:04:05:04
And you can do the same
with orders as well.

00:04:05:04 - 00:04:11:17
So you can clear out orders that were
created during your testing phase.

00:04:11:19 - 00:04:13:24
Once that moves to test mode, we're

00:04:13:24 - 00:04:17:28
now going to navigate
to our newly created storefront.

00:04:18:01 - 00:04:23:13
Go to the top right of your screen
and click on Switch storefront.

00:04:23:16 - 00:04:26:00
Then click on Select on the storefront

00:04:26:00 - 00:04:38:11
that you've just made.

00:04:38:14 - 00:04:40:03
The next step is going to be creating

00:04:40:03 - 00:04:47:00
a new storefront administrator.

00:04:47:02 - 00:04:50:02
If we start off by navigating
to our customer section

00:04:50:04 - 00:04:52:08
and then customer management,

00:04:52:08 - 00:04:56:00
we're going to create a storefront
administrator account, which we will use

00:04:56:00 - 00:05:01:23
going forward to implement changes
to this particular storefront.

00:05:01:26 - 00:05:05:19
You see, at the moment
we have no customers created at all.

00:05:05:21 - 00:05:09:03
I'm just going to go to add new on the top
right of the page

00:05:09:05 - 00:05:13:13
and then I'm just going to
input an email address and a password.

00:05:13:15 - 00:05:17:06
These are the only mandatory fields
on the customer info page.

00:05:17:12 - 00:05:23:29
However, you can add additional details
about that customer if you wish to do so.

00:05:24:01 - 00:05:26:09
Click on the Customer Roles tab.

00:05:26:09 - 00:05:29:08
So customer roles
allow us to give enhanced access

00:05:29:08 - 00:05:32:18
and capabilities to certain customers
or users

00:05:32:20 - 00:05:35:20
that we create.

00:05:35:20 - 00:05:39:11
We'll give this user
the storefront administrator permissions.

00:05:39:14 - 00:05:42:14
This gives them full access to the admin
side of Infigo

00:05:42:19 - 00:05:46:02
for this particular storefront.

00:05:46:04 - 00:05:47:28
Once you've done this, click on Save

00:05:47:28 - 00:05:51:03
and continue
edit at the top of the screen.

00:05:51:06 - 00:05:53:06
Just to clarify what these two buttons do.

00:05:53:06 - 00:05:57:00
Save returns you to the previous page.

00:05:57:03 - 00:05:59:24
So here that would be the customer
management page.

00:05:59:24 - 00:06:00:21
Save and continue.

00:06:00:21 - 00:06:06:13
Edit keeps you on the current page
to make further changes.

00:06:06:15 - 00:06:07:23
Let's now log out

00:06:07:23 - 00:06:11:24
and log back in as our new storefront
administrator account.

00:06:11:27 - 00:06:14:27
You will first need to navigate
to the storefront URL

00:06:14:27 - 00:06:19:00
using the platform URL
and the storefront alias.

00:06:19:03 - 00:06:24:15
So in this case,
if I just log out of my platform

00:06:24:17 - 00:06:26:22
and then navigate to the relevant URL.

00:06:26:22 - 00:06:32:04
So in my case, training.infigosoftware.com
forward slash the alias

00:06:32:04 - 00:06:35:25
which is lightning2

00:06:35:27 - 00:06:38:01
enter
the storefront administrator, details

00:06:38:01 - 00:06:49:01
on the log in page
and then click Login when logging in.

00:06:49:01 - 00:06:53:09
As a storefront administrator, you'll be
taken directly to the front end website.

00:06:53:09 - 00:06:54:21
Click on the admin button

00:06:54:21 - 00:06:57:23
on the top right of the screen
to enter the administrator area.

00:06:57:23 - 00:06:59:17
Next, let's take a look at creating

00:06:59:17 - 00:07:03:18
and configuring some products
on our new storefront to begin.

00:07:03:19 - 00:07:06:15
Click on the catalog section.

00:07:06:15 - 00:07:09:16
So we're going to create
some basic products in this tutorial.

00:07:09:16 - 00:07:14:25
These will consist of basic stock products
and a static PDF products,

00:07:14:27 - 00:07:18:23
and these will be explained more later.

00:07:18:25 - 00:07:21:17
So click on catalog products

00:07:21:17 - 00:07:24:17
and then product management.

00:07:24:22 - 00:07:27:09
The product management screen
will show you a list

00:07:27:09 - 00:07:31:12
of all products created
on your currently active storefront.

00:07:31:14 - 00:07:33:13
You can also create new products.

00:07:33:13 - 00:07:38:16
Edit your products and delete products.

00:07:38:18 - 00:07:40:02
So we're going to manually create these

00:07:40:02 - 00:07:43:23
by clicking add new on the top right
hand side.

00:07:43:25 - 00:07:46:03
We're then going to type
a name for the product.

00:07:46:03 - 00:07:50:18
I'm just going to keep this nice and clear
by naming it stock product

00:07:50:20 - 00:07:52:22
and then select the product type.

00:07:52:22 - 00:07:56:11
Now in this case we want stock
which is automatically highlighted.

00:07:56:13 - 00:08:00:24
So I can just go ahead and click create.

00:08:00:26 - 00:08:02:06
No further specification

00:08:02:06 - 00:08:05:13
is required
to create a basic stock product.

00:08:05:16 - 00:08:09:27
We will be immediately
taken to the product details screen

00:08:09:29 - 00:08:12:23
where we can enter more information
on our newly

00:08:12:23 - 00:08:15:23
created product.

00:08:15:27 - 00:08:17:03
The first thing I'm going to do

00:08:17:03 - 00:08:20:14
is click on Show on Home page.

00:08:20:17 - 00:08:24:27
We have the ability to display the product
directly on our storefronts home page.

00:08:24:29 - 00:08:27:12
This is not a necessary step.

00:08:27:12 - 00:08:30:09
If you do not wish
to have these featured products,

00:08:30:09 - 00:08:33:21
but it will help us when experimenting
with our storefront,

00:08:33:24 - 00:08:38:24
giving easier access
to this particular product.

00:08:38:27 - 00:08:39:16
If you make any

00:08:39:16 - 00:08:43:09
change on here, make sure you click either
save or save and continue.

00:08:43:10 - 00:08:48:16
Edit to confirm those changes.

00:08:48:18 - 00:08:49:24
Next, we're going to go across

00:08:49:24 - 00:08:53:29
a couple of tabs to product variants.

00:08:54:01 - 00:08:54:15
You'll see that

00:08:54:15 - 00:08:58:26
there's one entry in the table here
and we're just going to click on edit.

00:08:58:29 - 00:09:02:00
Now each product has one product variant.

00:09:02:00 - 00:09:03:16
Group of Settings.

00:09:03:16 - 00:09:06:04
The product Variant Settings Control.

00:09:06:04 - 00:09:09:24
Many of the technical elements
of the product in here, you'll find

00:09:09:24 - 00:09:15:18
information to do with pricing,
tax, shipping, weights and more.

00:09:15:20 - 00:09:20:09
Along with this, you can specify
product attributes using this tab here.

00:09:20:11 - 00:09:23:18
These are defining features
of a product selection things

00:09:23:18 - 00:09:27:18
such as size, okowa or material,
for example.

00:09:27:21 - 00:09:30:19
Product attributes
will not be covered in this tutorial

00:09:30:19 - 00:09:32:27
but is covered in greater
detail elsewhere.

00:09:32:27 - 00:09:36:04
In the Infigo Academy.

00:09:36:06 - 00:09:36:25
All we're going to

00:09:36:25 - 00:09:40:21
do in here is to assign a basic price into

00:09:40:21 - 00:09:44:17
if we scroll down a little bit
the pricing field

00:09:44:19 - 00:09:47:28
and this will be the price
per unit of this product.

00:09:48:00 - 00:09:50:17
This is pricing in its most basic form

00:09:50:17 - 00:09:53:15
with the price per unit remaining fixed.

00:09:53:15 - 00:09:56:12
I'm just going to enter a value in there

00:09:56:12 - 00:09:58:06
and then I'm going to click on Save

00:09:58:06 - 00:10:03:23
and continue edit.

00:10:03:25 - 00:10:05:01
Now, we might want to take a look

00:10:05:01 - 00:10:08:26
on the frontend
how this product page is actually working.

00:10:08:28 - 00:10:11:10
We can immediately
navigate to the frontend

00:10:11:10 - 00:10:15:02
if we're logged in as our storefront
administrator and view this product

00:10:15:02 - 00:10:19:04
by clicking the View product page button.

00:10:19:06 - 00:10:21:06
That will open up a separate tab

00:10:21:06 - 00:10:26:07
with that product page.

00:10:26:09 - 00:10:29:02
So as we can see, it's
an incredibly basic product page

00:10:29:02 - 00:10:32:28
right now, but you can see that
we do have the product name information

00:10:32:28 - 00:10:36:22
that we've input along
with a specified price.

00:10:36:24 - 00:10:49:02
And also we have the ability to add any
quantity of this product to our basket.

00:10:49:04 - 00:10:51:15
Returning to the admin area of Infigo,

00:10:51:15 - 00:10:55:28
I'm now just going to click on back
to product details

00:10:56:00 - 00:10:59:28
to return me to the product detail screen.

00:11:00:00 - 00:11:02:04
And what we're going to do now is actually

00:11:02:04 - 00:11:05:18
to make this a bit more appealing and draw
in our customers a little bit.

00:11:05:19 - 00:11:09:11
We're going to apply an image
to this product.

00:11:09:14 - 00:11:12:01
If I go

00:11:12:01 - 00:11:15:24
a few tabs over to pictures,

00:11:15:26 - 00:11:17:29
I'm going to select an image
using the upload

00:11:17:29 - 00:11:22:04
a file tool,

00:11:22:07 - 00:11:23:05
and then I'm going to click

00:11:23:05 - 00:11:27:14
on Add Product picture.

00:11:27:16 - 00:11:29:22
That picture is now
applied to our product.

00:11:29:22 - 00:11:32:28
We can have multiple pictures.

00:11:33:01 - 00:11:35:17
We do need to be careful
of the size of this imagery.

00:11:35:17 - 00:11:38:00
It needs to suit
your particular storefront,

00:11:38:00 - 00:11:40:28
and this image will be visible
in various places,

00:11:40:28 - 00:11:44:18
such as on the product landing page,
category pages where applicable,

00:11:44:24 - 00:11:47:20
and as a featured product
image on the home page.

00:11:47:20 - 00:11:49:29
Again, if that's applicable.

00:11:49:29 - 00:11:52:28
So I'm just going to click on Save

00:11:53:00 - 00:11:54:16
to confirm those changes and

00:11:54:16 - 00:11:58:09
then return to product management.

00:11:58:11 - 00:12:01:18
Let's now create
a different type of product.

00:12:01:20 - 00:12:04:12
I'm going to click on Add New Again

00:12:04:12 - 00:12:06:24
input a different product name.

00:12:06:24 - 00:12:12:25
In this case, I'm going to do static
PDF products just to be nice and clear,

00:12:12:28 - 00:12:16:04
and then I'm going to select
a product type

00:12:16:07 - 00:12:19:05
of static PDF.

00:12:19:05 - 00:12:22:04
this type of product
allows customers to purchase a non

00:12:22:04 - 00:12:25:28
customizable product
where the PDF has already been provided.

00:12:26:01 - 00:12:29:01
And we name this a static PDF product.

00:12:29:06 - 00:12:33:22
As the administrator you upload a PDF
to associate with this product.

00:12:33:25 - 00:12:37:29
Customers will be able to view
this PDF on the storefront

00:12:38:02 - 00:12:39:08
and when they place an order,

00:12:39:08 - 00:12:48:02
the PDF is used as the output file
for use by your business.

00:12:48:04 - 00:12:49:01
So I'm just going to go ahead

00:12:49:01 - 00:12:53:02
and select a PDF
to utilize on this product.

00:12:53:05 - 00:13:02:17
But when that's uploaded,
go ahead and click create.

00:13:02:19 - 00:13:05:14
So once again,
we've taken to our product details page.

00:13:05:14 - 00:13:09:21
I'm going to activate
show on home page yet again.

00:13:09:23 - 00:13:11:15
And same as with our previous product.

00:13:11:15 - 00:13:17:27
I'm going to navigate
to our product variant settings.

00:13:17:29 - 00:13:19:10
Once again, I'm just going to enter

00:13:19:10 - 00:13:24:23
a unit price in the price field

00:13:24:26 - 00:13:30:02
and then click on Save.

00:13:30:04 - 00:13:30:15
Okay.

00:13:30:15 - 00:13:31:29
So we'll take a look at those products

00:13:31:29 - 00:13:36:02
a little bit later on
and actually go a go forward and use them.

00:13:36:04 - 00:13:36:24
What we're going to do at

00:13:36:24 - 00:13:40:19
the moment is start
designing our storefront on the frontend.

00:13:40:22 - 00:13:43:25
So let's make some basic changes
to our storefront front end,

00:13:44:02 - 00:13:47:02
starting with the site header.

00:13:47:03 - 00:13:51:00
Will make sure that we can get straight
to our two new products

00:13:51:00 - 00:13:53:11
from the header of our storefront

00:13:53:11 - 00:13:58:05
and we'll get rid of some of the default
entries that we don't need anymore.

00:13:58:07 - 00:13:59:08
So what we're going to do is

00:13:59:08 - 00:14:03:21
navigate to a new area in our Infigo
admin called editable content.

00:14:03:24 - 00:14:07:16
The easiest way to get to
that is to use the search menu at the top.

00:14:07:16 - 00:14:10:16
So if I start typing editable content

00:14:10:21 - 00:14:13:26
and then click on the relevant entry.

00:14:13:29 - 00:14:17:15
So the editable content area
is where you'll find the ability

00:14:17:15 - 00:14:21:08
to modify many of the areas of your site.

00:14:21:10 - 00:14:24:10
There are a lot of elements
that can be modified here,

00:14:24:12 - 00:14:27:11
so it's recommended to familiarize
familiarize yourself

00:14:27:11 - 00:14:30:10
a little with this list.

00:14:30:10 - 00:14:32:17
However, some of the more crucial elements

00:14:32:17 - 00:14:36:07
seen on this page include the footer,

00:14:36:09 - 00:14:38:08
the header,

00:14:38:08 - 00:14:40:14
the home page banner

00:14:40:14 - 00:14:46:27
and other home page content, and we'll use
some of these to work on our homepage,

00:14:46:29 - 00:14:48:13
Locate the header section

00:14:48:13 - 00:14:52:09
within here and click on Edit.

00:14:52:11 - 00:14:54:29
Now this gives us our first
look at constructing

00:14:54:29 - 00:14:57:29
page layouts using content templates.

00:14:58:03 - 00:15:01:22
These are versatile tools
allowing us to curate beautiful pages

00:15:01:25 - 00:15:06:08
without having to interact directly
with the underlying HTML.

00:15:06:11 - 00:15:09:10
Instead,
the administrator will use building blocks

00:15:09:10 - 00:15:12:24
as an approach to develop their content.

00:15:12:27 - 00:15:17:02
The Infigo Academy contains many tutorials
regarding content templates.

00:15:17:05 - 00:15:22:17
Here, we're just going to focus
on the absolute basics.

00:15:22:19 - 00:15:25:19
So first of all,
let's take a look at the default header.

00:15:25:23 - 00:15:29:07
So the default header is already
utilizing content templates.

00:15:29:08 - 00:15:33:23
We can see with the content templates
editor selection here and it's utilizing

00:15:33:23 - 00:15:38:12
the header content template
of which a few default variations

00:15:38:15 - 00:15:42:08
are provided

00:15:42:11 - 00:15:43:01
within here

00:15:43:01 - 00:15:46:01
you can see that
we have a few building blocks

00:15:46:09 - 00:15:49:23
and then we have blocks nested
within those blocks as well,

00:15:49:26 - 00:15:56:22
making up a few menu items
and corresponding submenus if applicable.

00:15:56:24 - 00:15:59:04
We have full control over these entries,

00:15:59:04 - 00:16:06:04
meaning that we can add to it, modify it
or delete it

00:16:06:06 - 00:16:07:04
if you prefer,

00:16:07:04 - 00:16:11:25
and have the skills to do so, you can skip
the use of content templates completely,

00:16:11:27 - 00:16:16:02
instead
creating the site directly inputting HTML.

00:16:16:09 - 00:16:23:17
And this is done using the code
Mirror editor.

00:16:23:19 - 00:16:27:07
So we're going to expand
one of our header dropdowns.

00:16:27:10 - 00:16:29:24
This is the one
which is related to products

00:16:29:24 - 00:16:33:16
and then we're going to select
one of our product entries.

00:16:33:19 - 00:16:35:14
Now just to clarify how this appears

00:16:35:14 - 00:16:39:11
on our actual store to begin with,
I'm just going to click on public Store.

00:16:39:13 - 00:16:42:26
You can see what we have by default
is a home button.

00:16:42:29 - 00:16:47:16
We have a categories button,
which has a few sample categories with

00:16:47:18 - 00:16:48:29
nonfunctional links at

00:16:48:29 - 00:16:51:29
the moment,
and then the same with products.

00:16:52:02 - 00:16:54:16
Now what we're going to do
is change a couple of these product

00:16:54:16 - 00:16:58:10
links to match the products
that we've just created and then get rid

00:16:58:10 - 00:17:03:20
of some of these extra sections
that we don't specifically need.

00:17:03:23 - 00:17:04:21
So let's start off

00:17:04:21 - 00:17:07:29
by navigating to one of our header
dropdown items.

00:17:08:02 - 00:17:11:12
We found one associated with products
and then we've got eight

00:17:11:12 - 00:17:14:12
sample products associated with this.

00:17:14:20 - 00:17:17:17
We can immediately
delete six that we don't need

00:17:17:17 - 00:17:19:05
just by clicking on the cross button.

00:17:19:05 - 00:17:22:19
Next, the relevant building block.

00:17:22:22 - 00:17:27:11
And then we're just going to modify
the details of the two remaining products

00:17:27:14 - 00:17:31:28
so I can click on product one,
I can rename that if I wish to do so,

00:17:31:28 - 00:17:37:10
and this is the name
that will appear in the header.

00:17:37:12 - 00:17:39:21
And I then need to identify the URL

00:17:39:21 - 00:17:43:17
associated with that item

00:17:43:20 - 00:17:46:12
so we can search through
a lot of existing content

00:17:46:12 - 00:17:50:28
on our storefront to find the correct URL
for this particular link.

00:17:51:00 - 00:17:54:00
Searchable items
include all of your products,

00:17:54:05 - 00:17:59:06
categories, content pages,
blog entries and various other pieces,

00:17:59:09 - 00:18:05:02
most of which we haven't actually covered
as part of this brief tutorial,

00:18:05:04 - 00:18:07:13
I'm just going to click on product link

00:18:07:13 - 00:18:10:02
and then start
searching for the name of my product

00:18:10:02 - 00:18:13:02
and you'll see that
it gives me a summary information

00:18:13:04 - 00:18:16:27
of the relevant products.

00:18:17:00 - 00:18:18:00
Clicking on the item

00:18:18:00 - 00:18:25:21
will automatically fill in the URL.

00:18:25:23 - 00:18:27:02
I'm going to repeat that process

00:18:27:02 - 00:18:31:01
with my second product.

00:18:31:03 - 00:18:32:29
That's our two products input.

00:18:32:29 - 00:18:36:12
I'm now going to navigate further
the building block list and

00:18:36:12 - 00:18:40:11
get rid of the entries that I don't need
that we haven't got rid of already.

00:18:40:13 - 00:18:43:05
So I have a section here
to do with categories.

00:18:43:05 - 00:18:46:01
Categories we're not going to cover
in this brief tutorial,

00:18:46:01 - 00:18:52:27
so I'm just going to get rid
of that section completely

00:18:52:29 - 00:18:54:05
with those changes made.

00:18:54:05 - 00:18:56:22
I'm just going to click on Save

00:18:56:22 - 00:18:59:13
You may find that
you need to clear your cash on both

00:18:59:13 - 00:19:03:06
the Infigo admin area,
which is here and on your main

00:19:03:11 - 00:19:16:04
browser itself in order to immediately
see those changes.

00:19:16:07 - 00:19:18:14
What we can see now is
our header has been modified.

00:19:18:14 - 00:19:21:10
So we still have the home icon
which I left in place,

00:19:21:10 - 00:19:23:29
but we now have a dropdown
list of products

00:19:23:29 - 00:19:26:24
which contains direct links
to the two products

00:19:26:24 - 00:19:30:13
that we've created.

00:19:30:15 - 00:19:31:14
Now we're going to take a look

00:19:31:14 - 00:19:35:10
at the user experience
and placing an order.

00:19:35:13 - 00:19:39:05
So we now have created some products and
made some basic changes to our storefront.

00:19:39:12 - 00:19:43:04
Let's take a look at the experience
this would give our end users.

00:19:43:07 - 00:19:47:28
So we'll begin on the product landing page
that we've just found ourselves on.

00:19:48:01 - 00:19:50:07
All I'm going to do in this case,
because it's a basic stock

00:19:50:07 - 00:19:54:04
product, is to change the quantity
that we want to order

00:19:54:07 - 00:19:57:13
and then click on Add to basket.

00:19:57:16 - 00:20:00:16
We can see that
that now takes its place in our basket.

00:20:00:19 - 00:20:05:11
We've got a price per unit quantity
and a total, and we can amend this

00:20:05:11 - 00:20:10:08
from within the basket screen
if we wish to do so.

00:20:10:10 - 00:20:12:20
I'm now
going to click on continue shopping.

00:20:12:20 - 00:20:17:24
This will return the user to the home
page to continue choosing products.

00:20:17:27 - 00:20:20:14
Now we specified our next product

00:20:20:14 - 00:20:23:09
as one of our featured products.

00:20:23:09 - 00:20:26:02
So if I scroll down
to the featured product section,

00:20:26:02 - 00:20:28:26
we can see our static PDF product.

00:20:28:26 - 00:20:34:01
I can click on that to take us
to the product landing page.

00:20:34:04 - 00:20:35:08
The default setting for a

00:20:35:08 - 00:20:40:15
static PDF will show a preview of it
on the product landing page

00:20:40:17 - 00:20:50:16
so I can take a flick through
and have a look at that PDF

00:20:50:18 - 00:20:53:05
and then input the quantity
I want to purchase

00:20:53:05 - 00:21:00:01
and say add to basket.

00:21:00:03 - 00:21:02:24
I'd say that's everything we want
in this particular order.

00:21:02:24 - 00:21:06:08
So now as the customer
we would go ahead and proceed

00:21:06:08 - 00:21:12:16
through the checkout process.

00:21:12:19 - 00:21:18:20
Well,
first be taken to our address details

00:21:18:22 - 00:21:20:20
now, because this is a
brand new storefront

00:21:20:20 - 00:21:24:18
and a brand new customer,
we have no initial addresses available.

00:21:24:21 - 00:21:29:23
However,
we do have the ability to say add new,

00:21:29:25 - 00:21:32:23
We can enter these details
and then these will be remembered

00:21:32:23 - 00:21:39:03
for the next time this user checks out,

00:21:39:06 - 00:21:40:06
click on Continue.

00:21:40:06 - 00:21:44:26
And well, next we'll be taken
to the delivery method or delivery options

00:21:44:28 - 00:21:50:26
two delivery methods will exist
by default, first class and second class.

00:21:50:29 - 00:21:54:14
These can be amended
or deleted at a platform level.

00:21:54:17 - 00:21:57:04
Additional delivery methods
can also be added.

00:21:57:04 - 00:22:07:08
See Infigo Academy for further details.

00:22:07:10 - 00:22:12:16
Next,
we'll be taken to the payment methods.

00:22:12:18 - 00:22:14:03
So on a default, storefront

00:22:14:03 - 00:22:17:12
purchase order
is the only available payment method.

00:22:17:14 - 00:22:19:23
Additional payment
methods can be configured

00:22:19:23 - 00:22:23:06
and of course you can see
the in Infigo Academy for more details.

00:22:23:08 - 00:22:26:11
So I'm going to do here
is to enter a PO Number

00:22:26:13 - 00:22:35:13
click continue

00:22:35:15 - 00:22:36:23
now before we place the order,

00:22:36:23 - 00:22:40:27
we get a summary of those order details

00:22:40:29 - 00:22:45:27
and then click confirm to place the order.

00:22:45:29 - 00:22:48:28
Once the order has been placed,
the customer can either click

00:22:48:28 - 00:22:52:21
on this button here
to get additional details for the order.

00:22:52:24 - 00:22:57:20
Alternatively, they can go straight to the
my account section and my orders

00:22:57:22 - 00:23:01:16
to see additional information
and status updates on the orders

00:23:01:16 - 00:23:14:18
that they've placed.

00:23:14:21 - 00:23:17:04
Now we're going to take a look
at managing our orders

00:23:17:04 - 00:23:22:27
that have been placed from
within the Infigo admin area.

00:23:22:29 - 00:23:25:15
Click on the admin button on the top right
hand side.

00:23:25:15 - 00:23:30:22
This will take you from the front
end of your site back to the admin view.

00:23:30:25 - 00:23:32:05
Click on the shared

00:23:32:05 - 00:23:36:27
print operation section Over on the left
hand side, this is your primary place

00:23:36:27 - 00:23:42:05
for managing orders
received through your Infigo storefront.

00:23:42:07 - 00:23:47:25
We'll go ahead
and click on Static products.

00:23:47:28 - 00:23:49:01
So what we'll find here

00:23:49:01 - 00:23:53:05
is that separate tabs are present
for different types of products.

00:23:53:08 - 00:23:55:25
Orders are split into different order
lines

00:23:55:25 - 00:23:58:19
and jobs within shared print operations,

00:23:58:19 - 00:24:02:03
meaning there may be several entries
for a single order.

00:24:02:05 - 00:24:05:01
What you'll also find by default
is that orders for

00:24:05:01 - 00:24:09:16
all storefronts are shown on shared
print operations.

00:24:09:18 - 00:24:15:29
You can, however, refine it down
to show a single storefront.

00:24:16:02 - 00:24:18:12
So we're going to locate the job
that we've just placed,

00:24:18:12 - 00:24:19:25
which we can see here,

00:24:19:25 - 00:24:24:10
and click on the plus icon next to it
to see some additional information.

00:24:24:12 - 00:24:28:06
Now, there are loads of different pieces
of data available on this job,

00:24:28:08 - 00:24:31:26
including, amongst other things,
status histories,

00:24:31:26 - 00:24:34:25
so we can keep track of the jobs progress
throughout the system.

00:24:34:25 - 00:24:40:08
Can see that on the bottom right,
we've got address details of

00:24:40:10 - 00:24:42:25
both shipping and billing addresses.

00:24:42:25 - 00:24:48:01
We've got shipping details and much,
much more.

00:24:48:03 - 00:24:51:21
We've also got the ability
to download the output.

00:24:51:24 - 00:24:54:08
So for relevant product
types, we're able to download

00:24:54:08 - 00:24:57:14
the output file
from within shared prints, operations.

00:24:57:16 - 00:25:01:26
In our example, products will be able
to obtain an output for the static PDF

00:25:01:29 - 00:25:06:19
because that's the only one that has
any kind of output associated with it.

00:25:06:22 - 00:25:21:29
If I click on download output, that will
give me a copy of the output file.

00:25:22:02 - 00:25:22:14
The current

00:25:22:14 - 00:25:25:20
status
of the job can also be changed within SPO.

00:25:25:22 - 00:25:32:05
If you want to use this system for
maintaining progress through your factory.

00:25:32:08 - 00:25:35:26
For example, once we've been shipped,

00:25:35:28 - 00:25:37:15
you can change the status here.

00:25:37:15 - 00:25:42:16
Click Change status
and then that will be updated.

00:25:42:18 - 00:25:43:05
And that's it.

00:25:43:05 - 00:25:46:08
So this concludes your Lightning
Build Guide, giving you an introduction

00:25:46:08 - 00:25:50:11
to using your Infigo and discovering
exactly what it has to offer.

00:25:50:13 - 00:25:53:25
Now we do have much more detailed
tutorial series than this.

00:25:53:28 - 00:25:58:07
What I would highly recommend next
is to take a look at the slightly longer

00:25:58:10 - 00:26:03:17
rapid build guide, which is about eight
tutorials spanning around about 2 hours.

The Infigo Lightning Build | THOR_001

Congratulations on purchasing Infigo! You've taken that important first step in your web-to-print journey, but where do you go next?

Well don't worry, we've got you covered with our Lightning Build guide.

Infigo is a software that scales with you. Need a super-simple storefront? No problem! As we'll see in this tutorial, you can get a basic storefront up and running as quick as a flash!

Remember, this guide has been constructed to give you a surface level overview of Storefront builds. You'll see concepts and names which may seem a little unfamiliar, along with many settings we will not touch at all in this tutorial.

Don't worry, we'll get to all that in later tutorial series. Plus, our Infigo Academy is FULL of information on all things Infigo.

Want to jump straight to something a little more substantial? No problem at all. Check your Infigo Academy portal account for more advanced Learning Pathways. These will go through the our software in greater detail, but of course that will mean a bigger time commitment, too.

So, without further adieu, let's get started with our Lightning build!

The Storefront will be accessed using "https://training.infigosoftware.com/myalias".

Here, you can also define Storefront type, default Storefront colours, font and upload a logo.

# Designing our Storefront front-end

Let's make some basic changes to our Storefront front-end, starting with the site header.

We'll make sure we can get straight to our two new products from the header, and we'll get rid of some of the default entries that we don't need.

51. Navigate to the Editable Content

The Editable Content area is where you will find the ability to modify many of the areas of your site.

There are A LOT of elements that can be modified here, so it's recommended to familiarise yourself a little with the list, however some of the more crucial elements include:

  • Header

  • Footer

  • Home page banner

We'll use some of these to work on our home page.

Navigate to the Editable Content

52. Locate the Header section and click on Edit

This gives us our first look at constructing page layouts using Content Templates.

These are versatile tools allowing us to curate beautiful pages without having to interact directly with the underlying HTML. Instead, the administrator will use a building block approach to develop their content.

The Infigo Academy contains many tutorials regarding Content Templates. Here, we'll just focus on the basics.

Locate the Header section and click on Edit

53. Default header

The default header is already utilising Content Templates.

You can see we have a few blocks (and blocks nested within those blocks) making up a few menu items and corresponding sub menus.

We have full control over these entries, meaning we can add to it, modify it or delete it.

If you prefer and have the skills, you can skip the use of Content Templates completely, instead creating site content by directly inputting HTML.

Default header

54. Expand one of the header dropdown items related to Products and select one of the Product entries.

We're going to utilise some of the details already entered. But, by default, we don't have our specific products linked to these header entries.

Expand one of the header dropdown items related to Products and select one of the Product entries.

55. Select All product Links

We can search through the existing content of our Storefront to find the correct URL for this link.

Searchable items include Products, categories and content pages, most of which we haven't covered yet!

Select All product Links

56. Begin typing your product name

A dropdown list will appear where you can select from your available products
