0:00 In this short video we're going to take a look at our redesigned product management screen. This has been redesigned from the ground up.
0:08 It's got a sleek new interface which brings lightning-fast searches, clearer information, and one-click bulk actions which you couldn't do before.
0:19 This means that you can manage hundreds of products in seconds instead of minutes or even hours. First and foremost we have advanced search capabilities.
0:31 So if you're on your product management screen, you'll see this advanced search section here. Click on there, you'll see we get access to loads of different search criteria that we didn't have in the previous iteration of the product manager.
0:45 This includes more advanced things like searching particular tags, searching for products that have particular pricing scripts, whether there are delivery options enabled, whether it's a downloadable product, loads of different potential options that you might want to search between.
1:01 week. As soon as you start to apply any of these filters, such as this pricing script here, it will immediately filter down the list of products to only show those that match the So this is on things like the name column and the SKU column, whereas previously you had to start searching from whatever
1:31 was at the start of the name or the SKU. You now have the ability to search the entire string. So to demonstrate what I mean, let's go with this product here where the second word is example.
1:43 If I start searching for an example, that product still remains within the list because it's now searching within the entire entire string route.
1:51 Other than just from the start. You may notice we also have the ability to select either the entire available products on the screen or individual products from the list using this column here.
2:08 When we've got those selected, we've got various bulk actions which are available to us. So if I go up to the top right, you'll see we have this action and product data drop down.
2:18 Going over those, you'll see we have the ability to. mass publish or mass unpublish our products and we also have the ability to delete multiple products at once either all of the products in the database or just our selected products.
2:35 Going over to our product data column, this contains a lot of the same functionality that we had previously in terms of importing data from Excel or exporting data to XML or Excel.
2:49 However, now our export capabilities are either the entire database that we had previously, both to XML or to Excel. But we also have the ability to export just the selected range of products as well, again both to XML or Excel.
3:11 of the smaller but quite effective changes is this published column now shows just a tick or a cross as to whether or not the product is published or not.
3:21 You'll also get this same visual on the actual product details page itself for the individual products, just to give you a quick reference as to whether or not the product is published.
3:34 and then finally we have a slightly more customisable table available to us. So you'll see that all of these column headers now are sortable, so any of those I click on them, I can sort either in ascending or descending order.
3:51 This allows us to find our requested product a lot faster and more efficiently.

Overview of the Feature

As of Juy 2025, the Product Management page has been completely rebuilt to give you faster searches, clearer data, and time-saving bulk tools. A streamlined header combines basic search with a new Advanced Search, while the product list itself adds extra columns, status icons, and check-boxes for multi-select actions. Exports, publish/unpublish toggles, and deletes can now target either all results or just the items you select, with one-click dropdowns for XML or Excel formats.
