Upload Products

Quick facts
Level: Advanced
Estimated time: 1 hour
Last updated: 31/3/2026

This pathway teaches you how to set up MultiPart (Upload) products in Infigo. From understanding what they are, to building and structuring the configuration XML, defining upload/static “parts”, adding customer-facing upload requirements + sample downloads, and finally applying global/advanced options (localisation, preview types) and quality gates (blocker status / approval workflow).

What you’ll learn

By the end, a learner should be able to:

- Decide when a MultiPart product is the right solution (simple upload vs multi-file/merged outputs, versioned use cases, richer previews).

- Configure the MultiPart Config options to control pricing/behaviour and apply processing profiles where relevant.

- Provide customers with clear upload requirements and downloadable sample files to reduce bad artwork submissions.

- Structure a MultiPart setup using the core XML concepts (parts, input items, ordering/sequence).

- Build both Upload parts and Static parts (e.g., automatically appending a terms page or cover sheet) and place them correctly in the merged output.

- Apply global + advanced settings like localisation, mandatory previews, and flipbook/3D preview options (where appropriate).

- Add extra “quality gates” using blocker status or an approval workflow so artwork/orders can be reviewed before production.

Who this is for

This learning path is aimed at Infigo administrators / implementers / product builders responsible for building product experiences and controlling artwork intake. Typically storefront admins, implementation consultants, prepress/workflow leads, or technical account teams who need to configure upload products safely and consistently.

Prerequisites

- Infigo Core basics (navigation, catalogue/product concepts, general admin comfort)

- Basic Product Configuration knowledge (creating products, attributes, pricing fundamentals)

- Familiarity with PDF prepress concepts (pages, covers, merged PDFs, what “preflight/fix” profiles do)

- Optional but helpful: awareness of Enfocus PitStop usage if you plan to run PitStop Profiles in the workflow
