Enfocus Pitstop

Quick facts
Level: Advanced
Estimated time: 30 minutes
Last updated: 31/3/2026

This learning path shows how to use Enfocus PitStop PDF profiles inside Infigo to preflight (check), automatically fix, and/or post-process output PDFs, then apply those profiles to common product types like MegaEdit and Multipart uploads, with reporting options to help users understand and resolve file issues.

What you’ll learn

After completing this path, learners should be able to:

- Add PitStop-backed PDF profiles in Infigo (including configuration of reporting behaviours like PDF/XML reporting and “alter input file”).

- Understand the practical difference between Check, Fix, and Output profile types and what users will experience.

- Apply profiles correctly to Multipart and MegaEdit products (including where settings live and what each option does).

Who this is for

Intended for Infigo admins / implementation specialists / prepress & workflow owners who want to reduce bad artwork uploads, automate preflight + corrections, and standardise PDF output quality using PitStop profiles.

Prerequisites

- Completion of the Infigo Core learning pathway to gain a fundamental understanding of core Infigo usage.

- Infigo admin access to storefront and platform.

- Access to the PDF Profile Setup and product configuration areas (may require a support ticket).

- The Enfocus PitStop module enabled in your Infigo environment (paid module / may require enablement).

- Access to (or support from someone with) PitStop Pro to create/manage the underlying profile files and (optionally) variable sets.
