0:52 Here, we'll give a basic run through of the hot folder configuration

0:57 Much more detailed configuration resources are available on the Infigo Academy,

1:04 so we'll start off with something called a print location.

1:07 You are required to specify print locations which are essentially just that.

1:12 There are location in which you print.

1:15 Here, for example, we have facility one

1:17 and facility two.

1:21 The next level down,

1:22 if you expand one of those is hot folders,

1:25 so you can create one or more hot folders within a print location.

1:29 And these are just folders which you are eventually

1:32 going to get artwork directly sent to.

1:35 On each of those folders we can say

1:37 edit mapping.

1:40 Detailed mapping can be assigned to our hot folders

1:43 to ensure that jobs are automatically sent to the most appropriate location.

1:48 This can take many different forms

1:50 from direct product mapping to mapping based on order location.

1:57 Let's take a look at how

1:58 hot folder use is shown to shared print operation users.

2:02 And this is once hot folders are fully configured, including Infigo sync.

2:22 Here we can see that we are notified

2:25 the job has been assigned to a particular folder

2:28 and again, if we want to manually swap the hot folder that this is assigned to,

2:32 we can do so by changing the location or changing the hot folder

2:36 and say copy to hot folder.

2:40 We can also take a look in the job status.

2:43 The job status is also updated with relation to folder actions

2:48 so you can see here that the job was placed in a hot folder.

2:53 and then it's been verified as then be present within the folder.

3:17 Infigo has direct plug ins with numerous MIS providers

3:25 In addition, Infigo produces a module named Connect Flow,

3:29 which allows data to be pushed from Infigo in a much more generic way,

3:33 allowing connections to be formed with software.

3:35 We do not have bespoke integrations with.

3:43 So I'm just going to select one of these connect options

3:52 of your Infigo and MIS solutions can be a fairly complex process.

4:52 you will often see this connect link button appearing throughout Infigo..

4:56 This button allows you to link that particular element with your solution.

5:04 an attribute which is within a product, an attribute combination

5:09 customer and various other locations.

5:16 this link will change based on the integration you are working with.

5:20 But what you're essentially doing is just forming a connection between

5:23 a certain part of the Infigo software and a certain part of your MIS

5:39 folders, any action related to pushing data to an MIS

5:42 will trigger a status update on the job within a shared print operations

5:51 A specific section is available on the job within shared print operations.
