This pathway walks an admin/implementer through getting Connect:Tharstern up and running end-to-end: enabling the plugin, entering API/auth details (including IP allowlisting considerations), tuning key integration behaviours (pricing, shipping/tax, date handling and JSON “node mapping”), then mapping Infigo products/variants and attributes to Tharstern estimate structures, assigning Tharstern customer codes at storefront and department level, and finally enabling webhooks + subscriptions so Tharstern job status and tracking numbers flow back into Infigo for better visibility.
By the end, a learner should be able to:
- Establish and validate the Infigo ↔ Tharstern connection (including the key connection inputs and common failure points like credentials/IPs).
- Configure how the integration behaves (e.g., product type filtering for mapping, how/when price is sent, shipping/tax inclusion, delivery/dispatch date rules, and JSON/node mapping tweaks).
- Map products/variants and optionally use advanced mapping to shape estimate requests (parts/processes and configurable mapping code).
- Map attribute values (not just whole variants) for deeper product configuration alignment.
- Correctly assign Tharstern customer codes at storefront and department level so estimates/orders route under the right Tharstern “customer”.
- Enable status + tracking updates via webhooks/subscriptions so Infigo jobs reflect Tharstern progress and tracking numbers automatically.
Designed for people responsible for implementing or administering the Tharstern integration, such as:
- Infigo System/Storefront Admins
- Implementation consultants / onboarding teams
- Tharstern admins (or anyone who can provide product types, parts/processes, customer codes, and enable webhooks)
- IT/security contacts involved in API endpoint access and allowlisting
- Completion of the Infigo Core learning pathway to gain a fundamental understanding of core Infigo usage.
- Admin access to Infigo storefront or platform.
- Tharstern API endpoint + credentials (and ability to confirm ports / access as needed).
- Ability to allowlist Infigo outgoing IPs if your Tharstern environment is locked down.
- A clear list of your Tharstern product types, plus understanding of parts/processes used in estimates (for mapping).
- Infigo products/variants already created (and attributes defined if you plan to map at attribute level).
- Tharstern customer codes and a plan for how they align to Infigo departments (company groupings).
- Permission to enable/configure webhooks/subscriptions for status + tracking updates.
Extra resources to deepen your understanding.
